Best little tattoo shop in Texas!! 11/27/2011

Body Language, simply put, is the best DAMN tattoo shop in ALL OF TEXAS. This is no joke...Travis, one of the shop's tattoo artists, did my very first tattoo - the name of my son, Alexander. It is by far my favorite tattoo - I now have 6 of them - but still, none compare to the quality and love I have for the tattoo of my son's name. Since I live in Houston, I have somewhat been forced to trying new shops in Houston, but none compare to the quality and craftsmanship of Travis's work. Because of this, I am now EXCLUSIVELY driving to Galveston to have Travis do ALL OF MY FUTURE TATTOOS - and why, you may ask? Because I only expect the best! Keep it up Travis...don't change. more

GO TRAVIS! 11/22/2011

Me and my bff were in Galveston on a whim and wanted a tattoo. We called around to every parlor we could find on our phone and Travis was the only artist willing to wait fifteen minutes after closing time to help us. When we got there, we had a GREAT experience, our tattoos came out JUST like we wanted (if not better), and Body Language instantly became a place that we would gladly return and recommend others to. I was very pleased 10/23/2011

I just recently got my nose pierced here. It was very quick and painless. Also the lady that did it (I'm sorry, I forgot her name) was extremely friendly! And since I am a college student there was a discount! BONUS! I really liked it and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Plus, my boyfriend and his friend were happy because the had free Playboy magazines for them to take as many as they liked. Everyone had a good time. more

The Fantastic Work of Andres Acosta 9/20/2011

Been thinking about a tattoo for 5 years since my mom passed away suddenly. Wanted to do something to honor her. Was in Glveston this past weekend, and decided to research shops to see who was the best. BLTP did a great job; everything was really clean; staff friendly and I was able to make my appointment online! Andres was very flexible about his schedule and was very helpful with the drawing I presented him. He took my drawing and added the perfect touches to it to make it unique! He was patient, kind, compassionate and meticulous. You can tell he takes his artwork and skills very seriously. I highly recommend Andres & BLTP if you are a first-timer or a pro! My tat is a vintage bluebird in honor of my Mom and I couldn't be more pleased! more

Tell Travis ""Warren"" sentcha : ) 8/8/2011

On a girls weekend getaway to Surfside, me and three girlfriends drove to Galveston with the intent on some of us getting tattoos. The location was very cool- on the seawall, the staff were very friendly and professional when it came to their work, the shop was very clean, all practices were clean and safe. more

I would recomend! 11/14/2010

Travis did an AMAZING job on my tattoo. I seemed more annoyed that my foot kept twitching than he did. The tattoo still turned out EXACTLY like I pictured it in my head. The lady in the shop (I feel bad that I never caught her name) was super nice. Everything was super clean. He openned up new stuff right in front of me. If you're like me and just gonna go to whatever shop in Galveston (just cause I couldn't get to my regular shop in Houston) PICK THIS ONE. Great stuff and cool location! more

I'D THINK TWICE! 8/17/2010

She was given no written instructions on how to take care of it. Was told just to put vaseline on it. I think we all know that's just not right. I already have 4 nice tattoos and am thinking about another one soon. For sure, it won't come from this shop. Sorry guys but it's one of the worst jobs i've seen. I only put 1 star because you have to put something. more

Chano does awesome work! He's easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor! I've been going to him for almost 4 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I get compliments all the time on how realistic my tats are. That man was born to do ink! more

Awesome artists and very friendly place to go 5/29/2008

My friend and I went down to Galveston for a weekend trip and on a whim decided to go get tattoos. It was my first tattoo and her second. They were very patient with me while trying to find exactly what I wanted (after all this is on me for life). They stayed late after hours doing our work. The hours, especially for most of us who go down there on vacation you can't beat. It was great. Chano did my tattoo and he did it perfectly! I got a flower with my kids initials in the petals of the flower. It looks beautiful, Thank you Chano!!! My friend loves her as well. Her artist did a great job on it as well. If you want to go to a very upbeat friendly and very clean place. Go here! Pros: Great artists, clean place Cons: a little pricy, but you get what you pay for, if you want quality then pay for it. more

I have gotten my freehand tatts and my foot zebra cross tatt here.....love them and love the atmosphere!!! They are the best at what they do!! They do put u at ease and know when to joke with u and when not to... Pros: TATTS, Service, Creativity more

Fantastic, friendly, professional service 3/26/2008

My husband and I visited Galveston over Spring Break weekend, and decided to get our tattoos done at Body Language Studio. The hygiene was top notch and the staff seemed more like a family than colleagues, all of them being chatty and making us feel welcome. Our artist, ""Hot Rodd"" was extremely professional and did a fantastic job on both our tattoos. The price was good value for the job well done, and we both definitely recommend Body Language as the place to go for tattoos and piercings. Thanks Hot Rodd !! Best piercing studio around. 12/23/2007

Best body piercings around. I've had a total of five piercings from Todd at Body Language. My last piercing was an apadravya. I really wanted this piercing, but was kinda scared to have it done, considering where it is placed and how long this piercing takes to heal at the beginning. He was very professional, took his time with me deciding on placement and the type of jewelry to start out with. This kind of piercing requires a custom piece of jewelry measured for the person it is going to be for. It took a few weeks for the jewelry to come in. Then, once it was in, we talked about when would be the best time to do it to allow some time for me to let it heal before having to go back to work. Pros: Professional, patient, informative. Informative, helpful, professional staff 10/30/2007

While on vacation in Galveston I developed a horrible infection in my snug piercing, which was starting to travel into my neck. I stopped into Body Language and the staff showed true concern, advising me on how to care for the infection as well as aftercare. Keep in mind I wasn't even paying them, they were genuinely concerned, and with their information I was able to take care of the problem and enjoy my vacation. I did not get any work done but I can say the staff is professional, caring, and knows about the health concerns regarding body art. more

Best Tattoo shop in Galveston...High quality and Clean. 7/30/2007

I stopped by Body Language Tattoos because a friend had gotten a tat there and was happy with the outcome. When I saw the quality of work and the professional attitude of the artist, I knew this was one of the best Tat shops in Texas. I got one tat from there so far and plan on going back for a few more.
