Bochantin, Tracy A, Md - Ob Gyn Assoc & Bochanin Ob

I went through 3 other doctors before finding Dr. Bochantin. The three doctors would not take my pelvic pain seriously and they literally asked me if I was under a lot of stress (basically stating the pain was in my head). I was in horrible pain and was taking a lot of time off of work. Dr. Bochantin's office staff was great and worked with me to get in to see the Dr even though she was over-booked. Dr. completed a thorough exam and told me she believed in my pain. Based on my symptoms she diagnosed me with endometriosis - which another dr. said there was no way that I had endometriosis. Dr. Bochantin performed a laprascopic surgery and found and removed the endometrosis which happened to be everywhere. I have been pain free since then. She is also very focused on the right treatment for the individual. Her bedside manner is great and I feel very comfortable with her and her entire staff. I highly recommend her. more

I have been seeing her for 3 years now and will continue to. She has the best bedside manor and treats you like she really cares about you. She doesn't make you feel like you are just another patient. I recommend her to everyone I know who is looking for an ObGYN. more

I went to Dr. B. after I had a terrible experience with the birth of my first son. She was so awesome to me. That was almost 10 years ago. Since then she has delievered my second 2 children and performed my hystercomoy this past December and I can honestly say, I will miss going to see her every year. She has the best bedside manner and she knows what she is talking about!!! more

I absolutely LOVE Dr. B!!! My husband really thinks i want to have more kids just to see her!! She is amazing at what she does and you do have to make a day of it, i do wait a while to get in to see her, but its definitely worth the wait to get the best care!! I recommend her to everyone!! more

Dr Bochantin is such a sweetheart. I have used her for all 3 of my children. After the birth of each one I got a nice card in the mail welcoming the new baby! The sono tech Lisa is amazing! All of the nurses are so sweet and caring! They will really include your spouse in everything as well. the nurses watched my little ones while I was getting an exam so they didn't have to be in there..There is no one better and I will never choose anyone else. Dr Fleming in her practice is great as well. He's very gentle and kind. When I had contractions early and went to the hospital they told me dr B wasn't available..I insisted on dr Fleming and he took great care of me! Worth the long waits to be seen! more

I have been a patient of Dr. Bochantins for about 3 years or so. Everytime I have had an appointment weather it be for just a regular checkup or when I have an issue, its like being w/ family or friends. The staff is always been so nice and friendly, they are also very knowledgeable and professional. I recently had to have a total hysterectomy and the time and care given preparing for the surgery as well as after the surgery was amazing. They left no stone unturned in preparing me for this event and in making sure that I understood everything from start to finish. They have always made me feel that any question I may have is important, no matter what the question was. I cannot say enough about Dr. Bochantin and her staff. I am very lucky to have a Dr. like her. more

Tracy Bochantin has been my doctor since 2001 and is amazing. I have recommended her to several friends who later told me she is not taking new patients. I don't know the other Doctors in the practice, so I can't say if they would be good to try and see or not. more

I am an OB nurse in Peoria. I can say from my experience of working with Dr Bochantin as a professional that she is just as wonderful to other staff as she is to her patients. I worked at the hospital for over a year before I made a decision on who to see as my GYNE. Her patients all speak so highly of her and now that I am also a patient of hers I can't say enough about how great of a Dr she is. It is also a testament to her that lots of the OB nurses go to her also! My advice to those who don't like to wait.... Try to get an early morning appointment or 1st appt after lunch. I have only had to wait for more than a 1/2 hr one time. more

I worked at a doctors office and my doctor sees Dr. Bochantin for GYN and recommended that I see her for my OB. Everytime I had an appointment with her she opened the door of the room I was waiting in and said my name like I was the only patient that mattered. She's absolutely wonderful. The wait was terribly long sometimes but I know what she does for a living and babies don't wait. I figured if I had to wait because she was delivering A baby, maybe one day others would have to wait because she was delivering MY baby. I would recommend no one besides her! more

After a few bad experiences with Peoria OB doctors, I started asking around. I tried friends, family, and co-workers. I wanted to find someone who made me feel like I was "special". The name that came up nearly always was Dr. Tracy Bochantin. I called, made an appointment, was cordially greeted. Although they were extremely busy, I was able to see her promptly. With a few simple tests (which no other doctor had ever suggested) she was able to resolve my problem! She was WELL worth the wait! more

After being referred to her practice some 5 yrs ago, Dr. Bochantin has the best side manners of any OB/GYN that Ive ever experienced. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to provide one-on-one attention with her patients. However, because she is so great at what she does, she is constantly overbooked and always in delivery while waiting for appts. The long waits are unbearable especially for those that work and have jobs. I would give 5 stars if it wasnt for the long waiting periods at appts. I would highly recommend others if you want a doc that is patient, kind, involved, concerned, and caring. more
