I will never go here again. I made a reservation a month ahead for Valentines Day. I requested either a booth or corner table. I was told that I would get one or the other.\r \r I get there to check in. I see my name on the reservation sheet with the word corner on it. We were ushered to our table which was (no exaggeration) 2 feet wide and about 2 1/2 feet long. It was a VERY VERY small table (even for me, and i'm only 5'8 140lbs). Also, the way they set it up was there was MAYBE a 2 foot walkway between tables. You're actually sitting closer to the person on the other table than the person you're with. Not wanting to cause any commotion, I whispered in the waiter's ear that I had reserved a corner table. He apologized and said this is all they had. Right as he left, I sat down and saw 2 tables on the corner that had a ""reserved"" sign on it. Before I could call the person that sat us down, they brought over people to sit on those spots. Not wanting to ruin the night, I let it slide.\r \r We were NOT the only unhappy couple there. As a matter of fact I did not see one happy couple. I heard a man with his wife/gf 2 tables over (which was very very very close to us) complaining to their waiter that he had called twice and that they told him there was live music. The waiter said maybe it was our other location. The man said ""i called twice!!"", and the waiter just shrugged and walked away. I saw 2 separate sets of couples walk in, get seated, look around with a look of ""WTF"" on their faces and walked out. I saw a lady ask for water from the same waiter 3 times before she got it.\r \r I ordered my steak RARE and got it WELL DONE. (I did not complain, as I NEVER complain to people that serve me my food). \r \r I would not recommend this place even to my enemy. Pros: Crab cakes were good Cons: Everything else is horrible more

We hosted a party for 60 guests at Bocca Steakhouse. We paid a large sum of money to have an open bar at the event. Within the following days, we found out that a vast majority of our guests had paid for their alcoholic beverages. Therefore, Bocca Steakhouse double-charged the alcohol. \r bocca steakhouse is not reliable!!!\r watch out!!!!!\r Pros: charge customers for things they don't receive more

i took out the family for dinner at about 7pm on Friday night at the suggestion of one of our neighbors. This place has a band that lets the kids get up on stage and sing songs with them. The parking was very convenient and not expensive. The place seemed to be filled with locals and everybody was friendly and having fun. It's a fun place in addition to having great food. The kabobs were great and the hummous and baba gannoush may be the best I've had. We should have ordered this variety appitizer plate that the people at the next table had. The bar looked interesting and was pretty full. Even the wife loved it. We will go back later without the kids sometime soon. Pros: food, fun for the kids, crowd more

First off, parked my own car for a valet that i paid for. Secondly, being mediterranean myself, food was tasteless except for the hummus. Staff was unfriendly, they barely cracked a smile. Overall, bad experience and would not go back. more

This is a fun place for a group lunch. Food is good- great variety. Kind of needs to be cleaned up. It has a very casual feel with picnic style table and chairs. more

I generally despise live music while I eat, but Tempo is a big exception. Here, you may see the last un-ironic lounge act in town put a Mediterranean spin on standards and classics. The menu is deceptively simple, and the portions look smaller than they feel - which is why Tempo is such a great place! No Atkins diet here; there's tons of pita and rice and sides to keep you busy. The food is all prepared nicely, and the aroma is simply heavenly. more

I threw a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend at Tempo and had a GREAT time. Everyone was well taken care of by the attentive wait staff (there were 4 parties going on and they still managed to be accommodating to all 10 of us) and the food was excellent. A fun place with great israeli/middle eastern/mediterranean food up in the Valley... tasty grape leaves and delicious flakey falafel. Live music on thursdays and saturdays makes for great entertainment and adds to the fun and classy atmosphere. Reasonable prices for the great food. more
