Everyone loves Bob's flours, beans, mixes etc. Being a bigtime home baker I was looking forward to going straight to the source. And you'd think that a place that grinds flour would make excellent pancakes, pastries etc for breakfast, eh? Wrong. Dull, heavy pancakes kind of epitomize the overpriced, uninteresting food at a location that is very inconvenient if you're driving from Portland. We didn't have time to stay and shop, but the large retail store there carries all of Bob's products, including many I hadn't seen in supermarkets, plus books, kitchen gadgets, bulk goods, etc. Next time we'll breakfast at home and drive out there just to shop.
Pros: nice retail, good coffee and espresso
Cons: bad pancakes (and other food), high prices, slow service, poor presentation
