Bobbie's Bridal Boutique

I went into Bobbie's one evening and was impressed with so many gowns to look at and choose from. I received personal service from the owner and seamstress on the premises. They helped me find and fit my dream wedding dress. I loved Bobbies and I think others should check it out!! more

Bobby owns this place, shes nice, but a little pushy, at first she seems like she wants to help, but then you realize she just wants your money. You can however, bargain with her. I left the store b/c of the price, then she called me later that night and took off $100, I think I may have been able to bring it down more than that though. Her alterations lady is good, but not the best, she didnt do it right the first time, although it wast wront, but it wasnt perfect either, which wastes a busy brides time. The alterations lady is however, very nice and accomodating. The place does have a large selection at the store, which is good in case your late in ordering your gown then you can just get something thats already at the store, they are not considered of the rack however b/c each one is covered in plastic, so she sells the instore ones at the same price she would sell a brand new one. I think her prices are comparable to other places, except online places (which are always cheaper). I would at least go look at her store, you might find something nice. more

I first went to Bobbie's to purchase a bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding. The employee did exactly what the book Bridal Bargains cautions customers about. She insisted I needed a dress that was a size that turns out to be two sizes larger than what I wear for everyday clothes. Of course when the dress came in, it was very large and it needed extensive alterations. Bobbie's Bridal's fees for the alterations were almost the same price as the dress. Additionally, they rip the tags out of their wedding dresses, which I understand is against the FTC policies. more
