In Short
This pristine bit of East Bay real estate is named after a photographer and conservationist who died of AIDS in 1992, when he was just 40 years old. It is fitting that this ridge was named after him, because it epitomizes the subtle beauty of the rolling oak savanna so common to the East Bay. The ridge offers spectacular vistas: Mount Diablo to the west and, on clear days, all the way across the Central Valley to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra.
