My husband and I went to the Sunday brunch and it was not worth the money. They did have a nice variety but much of the food was bland. The crab legs were disgusting and our stomachs have been upset all day. Would suggest not to waste your $80 here for brunch. more

I have lived here all my life and finally ventured over to Bimini with my lunch date last week. The service was fine. I was a little hesitant to go, after reading all of the reviews about the horrendous service at this restaurant, however we must have lucked out because our server was very pleasant to deal with.\r I had the mahi sandwich with the jerk glaze. The fish filet came out nice and thick and was a good, filling cut however the "jerk glaze" was rather disappointing and definitely not memorable in a good way. Just imagine sweet and sour sauce from a chinese restaurant, with traces of jerk spices in it. That is basically what you have here. I personally prefer a dry spice rub on my jerked items, but overall the food was good and so was the service. The passion fruit ice tea was delicious too!!! It was overall a good dining experience, but nothing memorable or having me yearning to go back again. more

I went to bimini boatyard on St. Patricks day night for dinner and the food and service could not have been better. We started with a few drinks at the outside bar and then dined outside with the live music.\r David was our server and recommended the swordfish which was unbelievable!!!!!\r He really did a great job as well. What a great experience.......... more

Below average food and service. The Sunday brunch is overpriced for the poor selection of food offered. The service needs improvement. There are other options on the water in Ft.Lauderdale, its advisable to find someplace else to eat. After three visits I CANNOT recommend this restaurant. more

1. I requested a outside reservation for 5 on-line. When we arrived. We were told they do not take reservations for outside.\r \r We were seated in a noisy crowded area and were unable to understand each other's conversations. When I complained...it was "tough luck"\r \r 2. A small roach was found in the water glass of one of our guests. The manager came and ther was no apology, just "I'll get you 5 new waters"\r \r 3. Poor service\r \r 4. mediocre food\r \r 5. We are resisidents and will not return. more

Went here for brunch, excellent! An extensive variety of foods from omlettes, to cold foods, to a dessert stations, bacon, sausage. And seafood. Delicious, fresh and music to my tummy :) more

If all you want is atmosphere and ambiance, this is the place. Service was okay too, but the food was ordinary, even the grilled fish lacked any flavor. Mrs. Paul's breaded shrimp taste better than the Coconut Shrimp appetizer, bland, terrible breading, no coconut flavor and only 4 shrimp for $12.00 with a few chopped tomatoes and lettuce...outrageous. And to top it off, the menu had the option to add a lobster tail to any entree for $10.00, but we were told when I ordered it that the price would be $15.00. How long would it have taken them to cover the menu price with a sticker showing the new price! It was my birthday too, so I was doubly disappointed. more

I LOVE this place. It has the BEST brunch BUFETT in all of Ft. Lauderdale. The selection is amazing! They have a chilled shell fish bar with raw oysters, mussels, shrimp and crab legs. Sushi, meat, make your own omelet, bloody Mary bar, two dessert tables, and all the staple brunch items and more. Each brunch comes with a mimosa, glass of champagne, bloody Mary or glass of juice. I come here everytime I'm in town :). The have a beautiful view of the water and yachts and a great outdoor dining area. Plenty of parking as well, closely located to the beach. more

Bought a Groupon certificate for brunch and the small print indicated a 20% gratuity. Brought two others with us and an 18% gratuity was added onto their bill. \r \r This is a brunch - you get up and serve yourself. Yes, the wait staff brings you water, drinks and perhaps coffee but when you total it all up....the guy made $26.00 for hardly doing anything. I have a problem with that.\r \r As far as the food, quality was fine, but they need to be quicker replacing plates and the fresh fish. more

The server was not good. He didn't know anything about the types of fish on the menu. It also took 1 hour to get my food. I will NOT go here ever again! more

We found this place via the Urbanspoon app. We were seated promptly. The server came and took our orders promptly and the food arrived at a great pace.\r \r The Bimini Bread is outstanding the fried calamari is delicate, crisp and not greasy.\r \r I had a combination dinner with mini crab cakes, grouper covered in a special butter and jerk shrimp.\r \r The grouper was the freshest I have eaten from a restaurant. The shrimp was sweet yet firm.\r \r The dessert "ice cream cookie sandwich" was so outstanding with the quality of cookies made it great.\r \r The service was the best I have had since moving him from Michigan in Late March.\r \r I highly recommend this place. The menu is not big but it is solid and the atmosphere is sophisticated but not stuffy and everything is worth it's price. more

The food was bad. My cousin said her scallops were good, but I didn't taste them, so I can't vouch for that dish. We had a table of about 17 people and just about everyone was disappointed with the food. The service was decent though. I had the tuna salad. I usually like rare tuna, but this one was half-way cooked or something and it just tasted nasty. I also had the seafood combo with the caviar and lobster risotto. YUK! It was gross- all of it. My mother had the same thing and she didn't like any of it either. Not going back there for any reason whatsoever. more

We go here often when in town.\r Dinner has always been good inside and out.\r \r Drinks are half price 4-7 every day. Good deal.\r \r Happy hour appetizers are not very good. Fried, skimpy, and only at the bar where service is Cold! \r \r Go for a meal and stay away from the outdoor bar and appetizers. more

Just got back from Bimini Boatyard...WOW, not the place it used to be. I had one of the special softshell crabs; truly disappointed. I had drinks, watered down, it was hot and humid, service was there. I was with friends that raved about it. They remembered that it was good so i went along with it.\r \r I went for brunch once and remembered it wasn't that good but i went cause of them. They will never see me again. \r \r Going back to the meal, I told the waitress that i was disappointed and she responded, well i wish you would have said something. She claimed I ate most of it, when in reality i had to cut up the crab to find the meat. \r \r Never again, TWO THUMBS DOWN, would not recommenrd it. Before I left, a table next to me was getting ready to order the crabs and i told them not too..It was not worth it.... more
