The angry review from dogscomefirst has it horribly wrong. Every experience I've had at Boardwalk has been more than fantastic! The dogs are played with numerous times a day (I've witnessed this myself), and the staff allows the dog to pick their own playtime, meaning the dog can play ball, chase, or just run around aimlessly under loving supervision. I've met the owner myself and he genuinely cares for all his dogs and their well-being. Why else would he have opened this place if he didn't love animals? He will even help if you need to surrender your pet. The staff are all experienced in animal husbandry and all have their own pets, so how could an accusation of indifference be valid? The review from petscomefirst is Bologne! This is one of the nicest pet boarding facilities in Northern California that I have seen. The dog's get ample time of socialization with the staff and my dogs are always happy to go there and when they come back. The place is spotless clean and the customer service is outstanding. The place favors individual boarding of dogs and cats over group play like other kennels do which is a BIG plus in my eyes. I recommend Boardwalk Pet Village to all my friends in the area. Well, I will say for one of the only perks is that the dogruns the dogs are somewhat spacious and kept clean from urine or stool. It is a known fact that the dogs do NOT get any play time,unless you shell out big bucks for a 5 min walk in the grass. They also do not get human socialization other then the occasional sympathetic pet here or there from the rare employee. That isn't good for the dog that is boarding away from there owners who give them love and attention, if anything it makes it a stressful or unpleasant experience. They get plenty of food and water, but are neglected. The owner of this bussiness chooses to run it so he can keep unwanted dogs of his own there, and the employes take care of it since he is ""too busy"". They stay year round never leaving the facility what kind of a life is that for an animal? tell me would you want to be caged up and never let out?
