Wonderful Service, Staff and Flowers! 6/29/2012

Robbin and Ali at Blumz are wonderful to work with. They truly listened to everything I wanted at my wedding and delivered more than I could have imagined. I cried when I walked into the reception hall - it was so beautiful. My bridal bouquet has lasted 2 weeks past the wedding and looked just as perfect as it did that day. more

The flowers were perfect, exactly what I wanted. Robbin and Jerome are very professional when they meet with you and they think of every detail that needs attention. Blumz, Amazing Floral Design Sponsorship 9/26/2010

Blumz generously stepped forth to collaborate with my PR firm on the pre-show and post-show event design, for the Sean Blackman (In Transit) show at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Hall on September 24th, 2010. They donated EXQUISITE arrangements, centerpieces, and plants, as well as worked with me to coordinate linen rentals and other event items as needed. They are FANTASTIC to work with. The theme of the show was world music and dance, with artists from around the globe. Robbin and Jerome put together exotic arrangements and bouquets with unique florals from each continent. WOW! Amazing. The Atrium (lobby) and Music Box (after party) were magically transformed by Blumz's designs. And each performer walked away with an amazing bouquet of flowers with ribbons representing the colors of their country of origins' flags. Whimsical and Elegant 8/29/2010

Rochelle at Blumz by JR Designs was a great help. She understood the look and the color pallet I wanted for the for my wedding. Her suggestions were spot on. I was floored by my flowers. The hydrengias in the church flurished for the whole day. The alter arangements lasted through the summer heat and my family told me I had the prettiest boutiques they had ever seen. more

GREAT SERVICE 6/17/2010

Last night I had an event and forgot to order flowers. It was 5:40pm and my guests were arriving at 6:30pm. I called Blumz immediately and asked if they could create 4 low lying arrangements for me and deliver them by 6:30pm. To complicate things more there was a Detroit Tigers Baseball game in town next to my venue as well.. But that was no problem for Blumz, they pulled it off and the flowers arrived in the nick of time. They were perfect for what I needed and I could not have asked for better service on the phone as I frantically called my order in. So THANK YOU to Jeannie and Tom for their help.. Creative, polite, and prompt! 2/28/2010

Hello from Pennsylvania! Today I talked long distance to a young man at Blumz, asking him to deliver flowers to my daughter-in-law at the DIA. He was so nice, and apparently put together a beautiful arrangement with just the kinds of flowers I asked for, using his “creativity” just as I had asked him to do. And it was delivered almost immediately! She was so thrilled. Thank you so much – I will tell everyone I know how marvelous Blumz by JR Designs is!\r Pros: Just what I wanted more

Our wedding flowers were amazing! The bouquets were so beautiful and creative that they made great decorations for the reception. The flowers were still fresh the next day. They were delivered on time and were carefully packed. Highly recommended! more

Prettiest and Friendliest Flowershop in Downtown Detroit 3/6/2008

Very cute shop with really helpful and friendly staff. They have moved from this location, though.. and the phone number is 313-964-5777.. They are located at 1300 Broadway St., #100. They are always willing to help customers with their selections.. The flowers are beautiful and designs are fresh and creative. Its located right on the corner of Broadway and Gratiot in Harmonie Park directly behind the Compuware building. The owners are both well respected by their peers and are educators in the floral industry. Some of their clients include, The Gem and Century Theatres, the Detroit Golf Club, MotorCity and Greektown Casinos, Coach Insignia, many professionals offices in downtown Detroit. They also have a second location in Ferndale on 9 Mile which is very large and even has a tuxedo store right there in the store. They work very well with brides providing flowers, invitations, decor, cakes, tuxedos, and more. Blumz also works closely with area funeral homes and provides excellent customer service for families and friends who have lost loved ones. I cant recommend them enough! Pros: Customer service, quality and creativity Cons: parking is a little challenging... but dont let that stop you from visiting.. more

Cute Flowershop... but they have moved just down the street to 1300 Broadway (3 blocks over from this address)... and their number is 313-964-5777. Very friendly staff and beautiful flowers, plants, and home accents. Really worth the visit. They also have a store in Ferndale on 9 Mile Road, 3 blocks east of Woodward Avenue. more

Very Cute and Friendly Flower Shop! 3/3/2008

Very Cute and right on the corner of Broadway and Gratiot in Downtown Detroit. Very Convenient to Greektown, MotorCity Casino, Coach Insignia, The Whitney, Opus One, Mosaic and all of Downtown. Delivers all over Metro Area. Very creative and friendly, award winning staff. They also have a location in Ferndale on 9 Mile, too. Beautiful flowers, creative arrangements, fruit and snack baskets, one even featuring Motown products, green plants, home accents and gifts. They work with a lot of the professional businesses downtown and even deliver flowers on a weekly basis to some for their lobbies and offices. Their Ferndale location also have a large event space perfect for small gatherings, club meetings, parties, even has a full kitchen.
