We loved this restaurant in the past, but sadly we were terribly disappointed with a recent visit (11/9/10) .The stale, fishy tasting, over priced sushi and the terrible service left us very surprised at the decline in this once fine restaurant. \r

Too bad as this WAS one of our favorite celebration spots for a high end meal, but we won't be back again. \r

I called the manager the next day, but just like her staff from the evening before, she gave the imprssion that her restaurant's designer priced reputation was above complaint. Our waitress ignored us for the evening. We had to ask twice for all drink refills with empty glasses on the table. We also had to request water, and food was very slow to arrive. The worst part was the terribly stale fishy taste to just about every piece of sushi we ordered. Maybe they did not sell enough on the weekend and decided it would keep a few days longer. \r

I can get fishy tasting, old. ""from the weekend batch"" sushi at the fast food joint down the street. I certainly don't need to pay $25 for bluefin roll or $16 for two pieces of toro. The freshwater eel was anything but fresh and was very dry with almost no sauce. Albacore belly sushi also tasted bad. \r

The only good news is immune system is most likely strengthened by the exposure to high bacteria counts. \r

Terrible experience. Run, don't walk, AWAY from Bluefin! The restaurant is floating upside down in the bottom of the tank, and the only noticable features are the absurd prices for sub standard sushi and abominable service. \r

One last note, to the patron who unfortunately had fishy soy sauce dumped all over her by the bus boy: it is a shame the management igonored you but right in line with the Bluefin's new customer service policies. I hope you hit them up for the full price of your outfit. Unbelievable.
