What started out as an adventure to somewhere highly recommended, but never previously visited, ended up as somewhat disappointing. The food was good, the service very good, the ambiance so-so and the prices not worth it. Could have been an off night, but it was Saturday on a holiday weekend. Had steak, and my date had crab cakes. Started with mussels which were very good, but a lack of attention in the kitchen left us with many throwaways due to cracked shells and unopened mussels. They should never make it past the chef or the expediter. Steak was average, but crab cakes I hear were great. Oyster salad was excellent. Wine and drink prices were ridiculous. Service was very good, though. Too many other places in town have this place beat.
Pros: Some dishes, Service
Cons: Drink / wine prices, Everythings ala carte
