Best Sushi Thus Far 3/27/2007

I walked into Blue Pacific in the King of Prussia Mall, thinking it was going to be another sushi place in philly metro with small portions and poor quality sushi; to my surprise it was not the run of the mill sushi eatery. I started with the ginger salad which was unexpectedly a large salad (great dressing), it was $5 so all in all it should of been that much. Then I started in with the sushi. I got 6 different rolls. The portion size was the best I have seen to date, the sushi was very fresh. (I was basically the only one there, so maybe I just got the best pieces). The chef was very friendly, recommended sushi that he liked. He did skimp on the wasabi, so I had to ask for more, and then each time thereafter I got a mound of wasabi. The waitress was very friendly as well. \r Overall very good. \r Cons - it was a little pricey, but it is king of prussia, definitely recommended and I will be there again. Pros: Good Sushi, Good Service, Good Portion Size Cons: Pricey more

Last Mall Restaurant I'll Go To Forever! 5/28/2004

My boyfriend and I walked by Blue Pacific and flipped through the menu. Not bad, but it's asian-fusion. I prefer my eateries to stick to one type of cuisine. I ordered Edamame (4), Tamago (4) and Masago sushi (5), and Beef Chow Fun (10). My boyfriend ordered Thai Hot and Sour Soup (3) and Phad Thai (12). The Edamame was average. Sushi was good. My Beef Chow Fun wasn't authentic. I had REAL Cantonese BCF before too. It's just a big plate of greasy noodles to me. The soup was definitely Chinese Hot and Sour Soup, not Thai at all. The Phad Thai was alright, but it has to be sweeter. Overall, Blue Pacific is pricey, and food lacks much authenticity. Avoid this place at all costs. Pros: Aquariums, Glassware, Convenience? Cons: , Price, Small Tables more

Interesting mix of east and west. Spicy chicken rolls are to die for. Ginger crusted shrimps were one of a kind, not greasy at all. Must try Satay Trios, it has shrimps, beef and chicken with curry rice. Good selection of sake. Sushi was fresh and nice presentation. Pros: well-priced, good ambiance, friendly staff more

Very eccentric and relax atompshere. Nice tropical fish tank and huge sushi bar. Love the TNT roll but should be shared if you want to have room for an entree. Salmon and rib eye are my favorites. Pros: non smoking, fresh sushi, can shop and eat more

best sushi around 5/2/2003

I feel like the review missed addressing many good things, especially the fact that Blue Pacific makes some quality sushi, the best in the area. Although some dishes may be a bit too greasy for some people's tastes, the salmon and spinach rolls, the crispy calamari tempura, and the rib-eye teriyaki are not only what customers enjoy but are popular dishes. I have had nothing but good experiences at BP and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and quality of presentation and food. Their sea bass, peking duck, and vietnamese crab salad are delicious. The servers are polite and welcoming, and one of the two owners is always present, making sure customers are well. This family-owned restaurant knows how to provide a good dining experience, and deserves more credit. Pros: sushi/take out, great atmosphere, seated promptly Cons: somewhat expensive more
