When I took on this account the pool was already green. Their previous pool company had stop showing up for whatever reason. It takes time to get to know a pool and figure out the problem. I super chlorinated it and when it cleared (milky) I did a filter clean. I did no notice right away that their filter manifold was cracked, but once I did I took it to both of them and was given approval to replace it. I also left a door knocker that 2 skimmer baskets needed to be replaced . The bill only consisted of the monthly pool service and the approved repairs. Even with the filter clean and repairs, the pool did not clear completely, it was burning up all chemicals added TDS of 5000ppm every week and no additional costs were added to the bill for the additional chemicals that were being used. At this point I let them know the best thing to do is drain the pool, but due to their budget and fear of the concrete pool raising the foundation they objected. I continued to try and flip this pool with chemicals lost every week, still not charging them any additional fees. I finally offered half cost or no charge for my time to drain the pool, they finally decided we could drain half and wanted to do it memorial weekend. I had been overloaded with emergency customer calls the day I said I would stop by, I did not realize they thought they had to be home for me to do this and had waited all day, so for that I apologize. I should have told them they didn't need to be there and I would be over once I was done for the day. When they called around 5 they decided not to do it anymore as they assumed I just didn't show up.
So they hired another company they weren't happy with obviously, because I noticed they got a bad review as well that stated the pool just got greener and greener.
