Blue Moon Diner

Most of us did not experience growing up in the 50's, but this diner makes you feel like you lived back then and you should be donning a poodle skirt. This is a burger spot much like ot would have been back then, the cheeseburgers are good. The atmosphere is fun and cheerful and they are friendly and the service is good. Stop in for something different. more

This place really needs to step up it's service. Both times I've been there I've had to wait...a long time, for the server to look my way, let alone bring me drinks or take my order. The food is okay but uninspired. I tried to be optimistic about it, but I can hardly remember what I ate each time. The one thing I do recall with vivid clarity is how HOT it was in there during the summer, and how many flies dive bombed me while I ate. I know that a lot of places do not believe in air conditioning here, but during the summer months I think it's crucial that if you are going to serve food, you should also offer a way for patrons to stay cool. After all, many of us don't have air conditioners in our home and look to places to go that provide us that service, at least for awhile. Blue Moon is okay. Nothing to write home about, but descent when you are hungry. more
