Editorial review from Citysearch 8/10/2012

NEVER VALET YOUR CAR HERE! My BMW X5 came back with a huge gash and a cracked rim. The damage was so bad that it is still at the body shop in vegas and its been a week already. The hotel is not claiming any responsibility. I asked for security footage and it was denied. Not only was it denied, they claim that they dont even have security cameras in the valet area. BS!!! So I asked them, fine but how about escorting me down to the valet area so I can gather some intelligence and that request was denied. I guess its their hotel policy to take your car and not have any responsibility over the safety and security of the car. No cameras down there at all?!? If anyone else has had similar experience with Valet, please msg me. I'm looking for any advice on what to do in this situation.\r \r oh p.s. this is my first citysearch review. I am FURIOUS! more

Pitiful 2/7/2012

BMG had some great music innovations but their humor is based on… vacuity. So when the show presently boost interactive fun rather than music, it becomes very, very boring. There are much better shows in Vegas for ten bucks so when you put seventy… more

Blue isn't Golden 6/17/2010

Blue Man Group has its moments, but besides being a small treat for the eyes and ears, it doesn't go beyond the superficial and for the price (I chose the front section tickets), I definitely wouldn't go again. Some of the exercises and stunts that were performed felt like old hat. I tend to be more impressed with intelligent stimulation, but the music and some repetitive facial expressions left me merely amused.\r Note that just because you pay extra for the front 2-3 rows, it doesn't mean that you'll get dirty. That's for better or worse, FYI. Oh, if you don't like the idea of food being wasted, don't go to this show. Pros: Unique and amusing Cons: Overrated and not very clever more

Good Show If You Can Get Discounted Tickets 5/17/2010

Saw the Blue Men the other night and it was something I had been looking forward to for a little while. I've heard they are fun to watch and entertaining; both proving to be true. But, like some previous reviewers had said, I would not pay full price for this show. I got tickets in the Front Row Center for 55.00 a ticket through the venetian website at a 40% discount. There was no way I would have paid $100 for a ticket to this show, just not enough going on to pay that much. I saw another show in Vegas of the Cirque family and for $100 a lot more was going on and definitely a more constructed performance. Sitting front row is not too close, so if you have the chance, do it, it's nice to have the extra leg room if anything and you can see just fine. The Blue Men interact well with audience and put on an interesting show, but it does seem more geared towards families and children. Pros: Entertaining, Keeps Your Attention Cons: Tickets Can Be Pricy, Could Use More more

I have seen these guys many times 12/6/2009

i love these guys. I fell like I see a part I missed everytime I go back. I highly recommend this how. Also something for the ladies, we went to pole worx for some pole dnce lessons and had a BLAST! Pros: very entertaining Cons: same show everytime i've seen them more

Lots of fun! 11/20/2009

I'd never seen a live Blue Man Group performance. I knew a little of what to expect from seeing them on late night shows and other little snippets in the past, but the whole live show was a surprise and an experience. \r \r The show is a mix of music, quieter bits of humor, lots of interaction with the audience and a fantastic finale. I laughed a LOT and had a great time. The ticket prices are a little extreme, but it is Vegas and you're not going to get tickets to a headliner show for cheap. All in all, it was a great experience and one I'd recommend. Pros: Surprising and funny more

Disappointed by the ""filler"" 10/17/2009

First, I have to say that If a decent ticket was $70, I would be a lot more satisfied. At double that price I was expecting a mind-blowing show and walked away feeling like I got a good show, but not worth $141 a ticket.\r My biggest complaint- stupid filler material like 10 minutes of chomping Capt'n Crunch cereal and a 15 minute 'Last Supper' scene with someone pulled from the audience. Also, the two scenes in which the Blue Men banged away on what looked like three big PVC zylophones was pretty lame because you could tell that the REAL sound was produced by the musicians on the scaffolding who provided REAL music support for the show.\r \r The lighting was very good and some of the new technical pieces were amusing (the information age segment, as well as the Frontier laser light segment).\r \r Ultimately, I walked away feeling disappointed-- especially in light of how much I paid for tickets, which , made it very disappointing. Pros: Exciting visuals Cons: Boring filler material and EXPENSIVE tickets more

BMG rules! 11/21/2006

The editorial description on this website probably offers the best description of this show that I have seen. It is is a little of this and a little of that, but always surprising. We just loved it, but I am not sure I would rush right back to see it again. What has not been mentioned by others is the great band that receives a standing ovation at the conclusion of each performance. Pros: A very different type show Cons: A very different type show more

LIghts Camera Action Laughs Music WOW 11/16/2006

From beginning to end, this show is full of suprises. Words can't accurately describe what this show is about. To say there are 3 guys with blue faces playing PVC pipe doesn't really translate. The show features a cast of musicians that play percussian heavy music. There are lots of over the top lighting effects. Not a single word is spoken by these 3 blue dudes, however, they sprinkle skits throughout the performance that keeps the audience howling in laughter. There are other special effects that range from the use of simple devices to ultra high tech stuff.....all brilliant. The theater is their stage and it's nice to see them in Vegas. For those who have seen this show in other cities....this show has elements that you won't see in the other cities they play in. One of the best shows in Vegas. Pros: Comedy, High Energy Music, Amazing special effects Cons: a little pricey more

Fantastic show! 11/11/2006

So I've been following the Blue Men around for awhile. This show you have got to go see if you are in the Vegas area. It is intelligent, funny, thought-provoking and educational. It is very unique and entertaining. Well worth the price of admission and there is never a dark night, so you can always go catch one of there shows. more

Ok if you're under 35 12/7/2005

We've seen Stomp and this was more of the same. It was good the first time, but when you've seen it once... We we quite disappointed. It had been raved to us by many and some of their stunts seemed stupid and childish. I certainly wouldn't recommend you put your ""Sunday Best"" on to see this show. Overpriced. Cons: Expensive, Don't Dress Up more

Love the Blue Guys! 10/18/2005

I went with friends/family and absolutely loved this show. Everyone was intrigued by the uniqueness of the show and what better place to see it then Las Vegas! I could easily see this show more than one time. So much better than a musical!!! Pros: cool, unique, fun more
