campus staple 8/15/2005

The Dube is definitely a campus staple. The menu is quite large, serving a variety of comfort food from many different countries (not really authentic ethnic food, but still good). Lots of vegetarian options and good daily food and drink specials. Look at the ceiling, the painted ceiling tiles are interesting to look at while waiting for your food. I think they might be serving breakfast now (at least on weekends) All in all, good food for relatively cheap. more

Campus Favorite! 7/12/2005

If you are in the Ohio State Campus area, and you're hungry, you MUST stop in to the blue danube (called the "blue dube" by locals) for something to eat. You'll be AMAZED by the decor. You'll feel like your neck is going to break--either from looking up at the ceiling to see the cool artwork on the ceiling tiles, looking around to see the decor....true "dive but cool"...or craning your neck to see the local crazy personality that has come in for something to eat, or just to "talk" to customers. My personal favorite is the Bottle of Dom Perignon and a grilled cheese offered on the menu for 125.00. Priceless. more
