I have a lot of experience with picture framers. These guys are expensive, and once they have your signature on a contract they couldn't care less about the quality of their work.\r
\r
I took in an original drawing on paper for dry mounting on gater board. After conversations with their guy who would do the work, and a small modification to the original, he said it would mount well. It came back with folds and creases that are impossible to remove. The drawing was ruined.\r
\r
They demanded full payment. They didn't apologize. I said I was unhappy with the work and they showed me the door. \r
\r
Money, money, money. That's what they care about, not craftsmanship. Don't patronize.
Cons: No respect for the customer, no interest in anything but money
