I waited nearly a year to write this review and I waited until I spoke to the vet - a woman - about my dissatisfaction, but I had a bad experience, and I feel other pet owners should be aware. I brought in a dog w/ a history of gum infections with inflamed gums, thinking I needed antibiotics, but I also wanted a thumbs up that it's not something worse (another dog of mine had cancer the year prior). The vet said she really thought it WAS cancer, and encouraged a biopsy the next day, which includes anesthesia. A day after the surgery, on antibiotics, the swelling went down. So it was actually infected gums. To add insult to injury, I never heard from them again (they say they left a message on my vm). The main issue is that instead of putting a small, old dog under anesthesia, we should've done antibiotics for a couple days first. Until talking to her today, I felt I had been scammed to get the surgery money. Now, I don't feel that's the case, but it was definitely an alarmist statement and an unnecessary surgery.
