After having my hair butchered at Juut a week ago, I finally dug out a *Bleach* card a friend of mine gave me sometime ago after I had told her that I absolutely fell in love with the hair cut she got from Amber at *Bleach*. I called *Bleach* to make a hair coloring appointment, Aaron asked me to come in the same day so he could take a look at my hair. Not only he saw me the same day and gave me awecome highlights, he also gave me a great new haircut! I don't remember when was the last time I left a hair salon feeling that happy! Aaron is not only a great hair stylist-colorist, he is also a great listener. He asks you questions about you hair and gives you good advice on what he thinks is best for you in terms of hair color and style. The prices at the salon are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is very friendly, casual and relaxing. This is the best place one can go to for a little make-over. more

best salon in the twin cities 4/12/2006

A salon with this kind of skill and vibe would ordinarily also have a lot of attitude and steep prices. But Bleach is the perfect blend of talent, price, and atmosphere - so laid back! I also loved that Aaron *listened* to what I wanted and didn't rush me out of there (ahem: Juut). Best of all, he was great company and gave me an *incredible* haircut that I get tons of compliments on. Be certain to visit their website - it's incredibly informative and has a lot of pictures! Gray Hair 3/24/2006

Saw all the good reviews and thought I would try something different and add highlights and color to my hair to cover all the gray starting to show up. Amber Jean had some good recomendations for me and took her time to do it right. Very freindly-I'll probably be back if it don't get too spendy. Pros: Freindly, Knowledgible Cons: Might get spendy more

Don't be fooled by these ratings! 3/1/2006

I decided to give this a try based on customer ratings and felt confident I would have a experience. After my stylist and I discussed my color at length and went over photos that I brought, the end result was not even close to what I wanted. How do you look at a photo and get it so wrong? I have fine hair that is on the damaged side and she used a metal round brush on soaking wet hair - eek. I saw peices of my hair breaking off as she jerked the round brush in my hair. Ultimately, I had to go somewhere else to have this re-done. I went to my suburban middle-end salon and was far more thrilled with the results. Had my experience with the coloring process itself been alright, I don't care for the phoniness of salons that try to be ""artsy"". Ish. Cons: inaccurate reviews, over-priced more

Barb has been my hairdresser for 20+ years. She has always known when I needed a change, and takes great care in making sure I'm happy with whatever we do. I have followed her wherever she goes, and I will be loyal to her as long as she is in the business. I consider her a friend. Bleach is, by far, the most comfortable and friendly place yet. Jasmine Rocks! 11/8/2005

I like to be playful with my haircuts and hair colors, changing them virtually every visit. Jasmine always has pertinent insights and helps me flesh out my periodically crazy ideas to the point that, with no exception, they turn out fabulous. I say that whether you like playful do's or conventional ones, Jasmine will find a way to make it perfect every time. Her scalp massages are pretty pleasant as well. Emily at Bleach will give you a great cut and style! She has been my stylist for over two years now. I always love my new doo. I've even had guys compliment my hair! Really. I have never been happier with a haircut 4/13/2005

When I met Jasmine 6 months ago, I just walked into Bleach. I was in one of those desperate situations where you decide you need a haircut and must have one that day. No one else could get me in on such short notice. I think it must have been fate. The haircut I received that day was really one of the best I've ever gotten. She listened to the problems I have with styling my hair and cut my hair in a way so it pretty much styles itself. I've since been back for color that was just as phenomenol as my cut. VERONICA is the best stylist and color artist I have ever worked with! She has been doing my hair for over 13 yrs and knows how to create the style and color that will look the most hip and flattering on me. I have never been too comfortable in a salon. I never know what to say or do - typical guy. When I was at Bleach I had zero reason to feel out of place. Emily and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. It was a great experience. Emily gave me a very stylish and cool haircut. No more electric razors, no more uneven cuts. Emily is one who is going to cut my hair from now on. She even gave me some ""product"" (yes, I said product) that has allowed me to keep this style going. It was definitely worth it. My wife even liked it! That, in and of itself, is a small miracle. Jasmine's the best! 1/15/2005

I might be the pickiest person when it comes to my hair. I wouldn't say I've had a lot of bad haircuts, but many, many average ones. Jasmine took the time to understand my likes and dislikes and what my hair is meant to do. She didn't push her ideas on me. She's a great consultative stylist. Give her a try. She's worth the risk. more

Shelly Hatting is awesome! 4/12/2004

I was looking for a new stylist and I turned to Citysearch. Bleach's website was the most helpful with their before and after pictures. I choose Shelly because I really liked what she did with other people's hair. She didn't just cut long hair short to make a change - she gave them style. Rachel Ferris at Bleach is an amazing stylist. I am very picky about my hair and she listens to what you want and does exactly what you ask for. I have not gone to any other stylist at Bleach, but when I'm there every customer is very satisfied with their service. I would highly recommend Rachel and Bleach salon to anyone who is looking for cutting edge hair styles and great customer service!! more
