Best

I have a good judgment when it comes to this sport . This place is full of good horses and medium range as well. The owner Amy is an example of a ""good hearted american value...

Worst

I want to start off by saying this is not the worst place in the world, but pretty close to it. I went there for a summer camp in 08. Though it was very inexpensive, (only $150 ...

Poorly oragnized horse farm 2/10/2008

I am very embarrassed for the owner of this barn. The horses are underweight and do not receive vet care or farrier care. Hip bones are showing on almost all horses. Horses are standing in stalls with urine and feces from days ago. Bedding appears very dusty as well does hay. Water buckets are dirty. Paddocks are disgusting. I took my daughter here for a lesson only because she was given a gift certificate by an aunt. I knew i was not going to be happy with the place when my daughters lesson consisted of a 12 year old girl walking her around the ring on an underweight horse for only 35 mintues when the certifcate was for an hour. I believe its illegal for a 12 year old to give lessons in this state. We returned to this stable once more when my neighbor wanted to take her son for a pony ride. He was led around for about 1 minute on an extremely tall skinny horse (NOT A PONY!!) The few times i was at this stable i even heard boarders complaining about the treatment of their horses...i dont blame them! There are enough stables in this area that blazing saddles should be avoided. I have ridden horses since i was a little girl and have never seen a place this poorly run. It should be shut down. Pros: Frienldy people Cons: dirty, unorganized, mistreated animals more

Wait a minute..... 11/5/2007

First of all, Blazing Saddles is one of the best barns around! My sister and I have been going to Blazing Saddles for almost a decade and we can?t get enough of it. We have some of the hardest and friendliest people working there but yes?they are people. Of course, like all barns, there have been some flaws but they always get fixed! I remember once we were doing SO much business and had SO many rides going out we had to tie some of the horses to trees on the barn side instead of the usual posts that they are tied to for the day. We accidently forgot that this one Quarter Horse named Hawk was tied on the side of the barn and he was there all night BUT the next morning we didn?t make him do trail rides for the whole day and he only had to do three the day after. And the paddocks and stalls are always done! Sometimes in the winter the ground freezes and its to difficult to muck the paddocks but as soon as they thaw out in the spring we have a day devoted to cleaning them out and get back into out weekly paddock mucking schedule. Our horse?s feet are also fine! A while back the owner?s boyfriend was the farrier and he was really mean and stuff (but I won?t get into that because it?s kind of personal) and he would only do the feet of the horses he was selling but they broke up and we have a great guy come down every so often from Canton Equestrian Center. The barn owner Amy is so sweet too! She always brings the kids working there fast food and picks them up from school all the time! If you ask her she?ll let you go to the bathroom at her house but haha most of us get used to just going in stalls. Well I think that sums up the barn for the most part! Blazing Saddles is a dream barn for everyone!!! Pros: Great Staff, Awsome Storng Independent Owner Cons: nothing at all! (its a great barn) more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!!! 11/3/2007

This place is the worst place i have ever been to in the whole world! the horses are all completely under weight and the stalls get done every other day and the paddocks get done once a month if your lucky! i went their and payed for an hour trail ride and we were back in less than 40 minutes! The horses get over worked and are tied to post's all day or stuck in grose stalls full of their own mess. The horses never get the propper veterinary treatment and the horses hoofs get so over grown to the point where they go lame, once they are lame they just get put in a stall for a few weeks unitl someone calls the Farrier. The horses they have their are also not suitable for children or any beginer riders, besides the underweight horses. I would not recomend this place if it was the last barn on earth!!! Pros: NOTHING! Cons: EVERYTHING! more
