Much less expensive than going to the dealer. They send reminder cards which helps me. Never have to wait long for an oil change. Website is easy to schedule an appt.

Anti-lock Brake module 1/20/2012

As usual, Tim gave it to us straight. He told us what the problem was, what it would cost to fix, and then (unlike most mechanics) told us that it was not imperative to have this done right away. Though we did fix this, we appreciate Blanding Automotive's honesty in business. We now bring all our cars, Volvo or not, here to be repaired. more

Oil Leaks from various locations 1/20/2012

My car just turned 20 years old: '92 940T. Having been stored for 1 1/2 years, it was expected to have "issues", even with low milage: 189,000. Tracking down every leak, gaskets, hoses, switches, was methodically completed over 3-4 visits. No parts had to be replaced, no engine, A/C, or transmission work, no brake line issues, nothing. Except for the radiator, the car is completely original; in perfect condition. They never replace what the car doesn't need. What I like most is the customer service, WiFi access, friendly customers, management that cares about my car AND me, and my relationship to my car. I will never go anywhere else, and Tim better not retire AGAIN!! more

They go above and beyond!! 1/9/2012

Blanding Automotive has taken care of my car for a few years now and I have always had very good service. This most recent visit has now TOPPED them all. I had to leave my car for service, then leave town. The owner, Tim agreed to meet me at the shop to pick up my car on Sunday after I returned. Clearly, above and beyond the norm. more

Service Experience 12/29/2011

I have 3 Volvo's and I would not keep them if it were not for Blanding Automotive. They are always very honest, direct and reasonable on pricing. Having a car repaired is never fun. At least with Blanding Automotive I feel confident in the work and I trust what they do. I have had very poor experiences with the local Volvo dealer's service department. Blanding Automotive is an outstanding alternative in getting your car serviced/repaired. more

My 1999 Volvo S80 has been serviced by Blanding Auto since I discovered them three years ago. They are partly responsible for the continued confidence I sense in a car with over 200,000 miles. They have always been reliable in detecting potential problems and fair in the cost of the service provided. I wish them continued success, because I would be lost without their trusted service. more
