I just rented a chain saw, and at first I was a little concerned about Jenifers comment - then i noticed they had given her two working chainsaws to try to help her get the job done. so i figured maybe it was an operator problem, or maybe the job wasn't just cutting trees. I figure blanco did their part. The chainsaw they rented to me was a new model Echo, and it worked perfectly. more

My experience at Blanco was excellent. One of the last good deals. They solve problems, not just rent equipment. A bit rough around the edges, but they will help get your job done. Uncommonly good service. Pros: Service Cons: None, really. more

DON'T RENT FROM HERE!!!! THE EQUIPMENT IS OLD!! I rented a chainsaw twice from them. Both times the chainsaw broke before the job could be done. The first time half way through the job. The second time five minutes into the job. No resolution offered by the manager. They don't care about service they just wanted their $60. Never again. Go to the HOME DEPOT instead. They rent equipment and are always willing to make it right. more

Worked with me through issues 3/16/2011

I've rented from this place 3 or 4 times and I've never had a problem. I think their prices are very reasonable. Most recently I rented a piece of heavy equipment which malfunctioned after 2 hours of use, I returned the machine and they replaced it with a backup right away. I've had issues before and had to call for help, and most of the time they offered some helpful advice, or at least tried. Based on reading some of the other reviews and my own experience it is obvious the equipment gets a lot of use, so I guess it would be a good idea to test it out thoroughly if possible before renting, or start using your rental during business hours in case there are issues. more

Not Too Bad, OK. 6/30/2010

I have used this company twice. First time it was a chainsaw. It worked well and I liked the fact that they were about to close on a Saturday and they let me pay for a day and bring it back Monday morning. Worked out great for me. Bonus was that they gave me the gas and oil for it, I didn't have to buy any. Next was a tiller. As soon as I got it home and pulled to start it, the pulley broke. Good thing I knew how to fix it or else I would have been stuck with it since it was after hours. Over all, OK experience. Pros: Good prices Cons: Old equipment more

orbital floor sander problems 1/1/2009

I rented an orbital floor sander and it was great for awhile. I was doing a big job and rented the machine for about a week. I had to use the internet to find out how to use the machine because they had no suggestions on how to use it. When it got to the end of the job where you are light sanding the floor between coats the base plate would not hold the pads anymore and I had to return their machine and look for one in better condition to finish the job from another rental company. Pros: They have alot of equipment available Cons: They get alot of business and sometimes the equipment is worn out. more

Worst Customer service I have ever had 11/5/2008

I rented a tool from this place and after 15 minutes of use it overheated and stopped working, I returned it to the store an hour later, the manager (Tom) plugged it in and he said "" it works fine"" and totally disregarded the fact that I told him it was after it got heated up, he just gave me blank stares and became very defensive very quickly. He charged me for the 3 hours of use and did not offer any help to me for my concerns. I will be spreading the word about my experience and shotty quality of equipment. I might also add that when I walked in the room was thick with smoke from the employees smoking inside. Pros: Price Cons: Quality, Customer service more

Great customer service 7/12/2006

Blanco Rentals countermen are extremly knowledgeable. I am a single homeowner with no handyman experience and new to the area. Iwas extremely satisfied with the knowledge level of Tom and Chris. They saved me money and gave good instructions on proper tool usage for my job. With these two guys I don't need any other man. Pros: Everyone and all the equipment at Blanco Rentals are PRO's more

Best Customer Service EVER!!! 7/11/2006

I recently rented a tiller for a small project in my backyard. Although I was unfamiliar with the equipment and where to begin on my project, I found all of the counter people extremly helpful. Earl was especially patient, and Tom was very helpful instructing me. Chris was slightly rude though. But all in all a great experiance. more
