We have lived within 2 miles of this restaurant for many years but had never visited. We chose last night to change that. It was well worth it. We were seated quickly. The waitperson arrived promply taking our drink order while providing sufficient time to allow a complete review of the menu. I had the pea soup of the day which was excellent. I followed with the sizzeling sirloin. It was tender and flavorful along with broccoli with garlic on the side. Had I known that the meal came with a large serving of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables I would not have ordered the broccoli. There was plenty of food and all of it good. My wife had a salad and a crusted fish dish which she said was delicious. We were both extremely satisfied with the quality and quantity of the meal and the pleasantness of the staff. The only thing which prevented me from awarding 5 stars was the fact that the delivery of the meal was a little slow, This did not detract from the tastiness of the meal or the attentikveness of the staff. We will definitely go back.
