Blackstone Valley 14 Cinema De Lux

A good selection of first-run movies in a comfortable setting. Usually a nice variety of movies geared to a variety of tastes. Usually at least one movie for the kids and several for the high school / college-aged crowd. The general movie lover with almost always find something to watch. My only complaint: The movie starting times are not staggered enough to make a least one movie available for spur-of-the-moment decisions to go see a film. If you pop in at the wrong time, you may have to wait at least an hour for any movie to start. So check the papers for movie listings before you go. more

We recently checked out our new local theatre and were quite pleased with most aspects. It is a wonderful place to see a movie, totally state of the art, comfy chairs, good sound quality, nice sized theaters. The concessions are great. Some many options it was mind boggling. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The place is easy to navigate and the rest rooms were bright, clean and large. I took my 2 small children to see a kids movie and this turned out to be harder then I expected. My 3 yr. old who is above average size was not heavy enough to keep his seat down with his weight. It was difficult to get him comfortable in there due to this. I will wait atleast another year before we try a movie with him again but besides that, the place is wonderful. more

This theater opened in 2004. It has stadium seating and the seats are very comfortable. They have what they call the director’s hall, which is a little more money but offers more. The Director’s Hall has larger seating and they bring the concessions to you. They have all the latest and greatest features. They have a bar, Starbuck, lounge, etc. There's also an actual restaurant off of the lobby, and a lounge area you can sit and watch the big screen TV in while you wait for your movie to start. There's an arcade area as well. more

This is a new theater (2004) and has all the latest features a theater can have. It has stadium seating and the seats are very comfortable and lean back. The concession area has tons to offer, everything from the traditional popcorn and candy to hot dogs, pizza and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. There's also an actual restaurant off of the lobby, and a lounge area you can sit and watch the big screen TV in while you wait for your movie to start. There's an arcade area as well. more
