Blackmon Mooring came out to our hose today to clean the carpets in 3 rooms. Robert and Vidal were very courteous and professional. They called 15 minutes before arriving to tell us they were on their way. They reviewed our order with us before beginning work and it was as quoted to us on the phone. Blackmon Mooring did a great job for me and my husband. We came home after a vacation and found our home flooded. They worked hard all night getting all the water up and setting up machines to dry out our home. They came back and followed up checking equipment every day. Great service and follow up. Had a small flooding problem from my courtyard ( like a half an inch of water over half my bedroom) and called Blackman Mooring. Asked for a quote 2 times and was put off (I was stupid) and the cost ended up being more than it would have cost for new carpet and a little sheetrock. To top it off the carpet does not look very good now and they ripped off 6 foot of baseboard and hauled it off..........which means I have to replace what could have been reused. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM BLACKMAN MOORING WITHOUT A QUOTE. Don't be stupid like me.......if they had given me a quote I would have paid the service charge..which they know; it is all a game to separate you from your money with no attemp to provide quality service at a fair price. DON""T USE THEM more

So far I am not pleased with this company. They send out the coupons in the mail for an Air Duct cleaning. When they get to your house, they try to sell you a long list of extras. Because of my husband's severe allergies and multiple pets in the house - I decided to let them clean my ducts and get a permanent air filter that I wanted to get anyway. Well, after I had payed, they explained that they did not have the size of filter I needed and that it would be delivered in 7-10 days. The final bill was over $1100.00(a far cry from the 179.00 on the coupon). Now it has been over a month and a half and I have not seen the filter. I call the company and they say that they are on ""back order"". Then I'm told they will look into it and call me back. A week later - still no call.Also, they said that the company would call me to schedule a 1 month ""check-up"" to make sure the mold in my system was gone. They did not call me - I had to call them to schedule. Not sure yet if I'm getting ripped off...but starting to feel like it. I wish I had never let this company in my house. Don't honestly notice much of a difference in my husband's allergies either. **EDIT - CHANGED FROM A 2 TO A 1 STAR. Had my ""recheck "" scheduled. Waited around during my 2 hour window only to have them call me in the middle of the window to cancel. Still do not have my filter I was supposed to receive over a month ago. **DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I tried to speak with a manager regarding the fact that I still did not receive my filter (it's been over 2 months) and that my recheck still has not occurred. They would NOT put me through to a manager and said I could not get a refund. I am furious and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. more

I have given Blackmon Mooring one star because it is not possible to give them no stars. They do not even deserve the one star that I was forced to give them by the system. They are a disgrace. I paid nearly 500 USD for them to clean the air ducts in my house. They arrived with antiquated equipment that looked like something out of a 60s movie. A week after they left, it was clear that my house was actually dustier than before it was so ""cleaned"". The dust is fine and goes everywhere. My cleaner is also surprised at how much dust is settling. I called Blackmon Mooring and asked for a refund. They refused to provide a refund and instead said that they would come and clean the ducts again for 50% off. PLEASE avoid Blackmon Mooring like the plague. They are crooks and my ducts were not at all cleaned. It was a con job. more

This company is a SCAM! I purchased our home over two years ago and although I've never noticed dust flying out of the vents, having a 3 month old baby, and seeing coupons for $179 for air duct cleaning, enticed me. I called the Blackmon Mooring on Monday late evening and was initially pleasantly surprised that they were able to schedule a technician immediately for the following day. The appointment was at 4pm for service. At 4:15pm I called to inquire as to their ETA. The person on the phone yelled at me that they had been calling me all day to verify my address because they did not have it. I never received said calls. In retrospect, I'm glad for this as this made me--ever so gullible--cautious of the company. The ""technicians"" arrived after 4:30 and asked to borrow a ladder as they had forgetten theirs at the previous home. They said it was company policy to check the attic to ensure that everything was well before starting the job. Within TWO minutes of opening the attic space the technician asked to borrow a camera to take pictures of the ""damage"" he had found. He also hypothesized that the damage was caused by rats although we have never heard any noises or seen anything to indicate as such. Within that two minute time frame he determined that the entire air duct system would need to be replaced at a tune of $3,000!! I immediately thought that I'd want a second opinion by a reputable company. The guy then started to pressure me into committing to having the work done the following day and progressively lowered the price. He started by saying that he had another job in my area on the following day so he wold call his boss to ask for a discount as I was a nice lady and he would be in the area. He said his boss agreed to $2,000 but only if I committed on the spot for the following morning. I declined. This time without having to call his boss for a discount appoval he said he could do it for $1,700. I declined and quickly ushered them out of my home. After a few minutes they returned saying that they had left a tool behind and also had good news. They could do the entire job for $1500 but they needed me to agree to the work before the end of the day. I declined and told them to get their tool and get out. I was so upset, I called their office, and requested to speak with a manager. After about 30 minutes of run around, I decided to hang up because it was apparent I was never going to get to speak with a manager. This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. more

Medina is awesome!!!! We just moved into our home and we had Blackmon Mooring come out to clean our carpets. The cleaning was nice, but the Scotchgaurd was not. After over 4 months and several stains that were not coming out of our carpet, they came out and cleaned the entire carpet again and put on the top of the line Scotchguard for free!!!!! They just wanted to make sure that we were a happy customer and pleased with the job they did. Ask for Medina.....he came and completed the job to my satisfaction and was super nice!!!! Blackmon Mooring was used when my condo flooded and they did OUTSTANDING work. Because of their attentiveness and thoroughness, the hardwood floors and cabinets were able to saved after horrible flooding damage. Koy Krause and his team are knowledgeable, honest, professional, which is generally hard to come by in this industry. Blackmon Mooring is is fortunate to have someone like Koy working for them. Hats off to Koy for being a true expert in his field and leading such an excellent team. more

I just did the 3 room carpet cleaning for $99. Roberto and Vidal were very friendly and didnt waste any time getting in and out and doing a great job in between. When i asked about the other services they offered, Roberto was informative without being pushy. ( i cant stand pushy salesmen)\r \r The carpet looks like new. I have heard good things about this company and they backed up every word of it today. We will definitly have them back out in the near future. Great job guys. more
