Blackmon Mooring OKC Review:\r
\r
I would never recommend using this company. The problems, excuses, poor work and delays were endless. What was originally quoted at a month is now going on four months. If I had to describe this company in two words: Unprofessional/Incompetent.\r
\r
I had a flood in my condo complex and needed to have the hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets replaced. There were endless delays. They ordered my cabinets which took a few weeks. These cabinets sat in my garage for over a month. When they went to install them they told me that they didn't fit. I was told it wasn't their job to check that the cabinets were cut correctly and they blamed everything on their supplier. If it isn't their job to make sure that the equipment they have and are installing is right then whose job is it? Im not sure what they think I am paying them for. So still waiting in the third month for those to be done. I was being compensated by my insurance company for living in a home with all the construction (at a discounted rate from what it would cost me to live in a hotel). The insurance company would only agree to pay through the estimated completion time set by Blackmon Mooring which was grossly inaccurate. After endless fighting with the insurance company, BM finally agreed to pay what I lost from their mistake.\r

They laid down the floors, however they did this with rocks under them and there were bumps in the floor so that needed to be redone as well.\r

They installed a temp sink for me as I had to live in the place with construction going on. However they didn't install the hose at the bottom of the sink, so that when I ran water it was dumped on the floor. I was told not to use that side of the sink so that wouldn't happen. \r

They broke my dishwasher which wasn't broken in the first place. They agreed to replace it as they broke it, however tried to scam me by offering a cheap replacement. I informed them that I was firing them and they agreed to replace with the model that I had before. When installing a new one, the alignment on the cabinets was off by a very large amount and in the direct center of the kitchen. I asked them if they bothered to look at their work and I was informed that they did not but planned to look at it another day. I had to ask them when doing work to please look at what they are doing. After this I was told they would come by and look at it. They never came. \r

No show, no calls to the job. I informed them that it is certainly hard to meet deadlines when you don't show up for work. \r
\r
At this point work is still not done. I do however have promises that they will look at the work they have done this week and more make believe dates on when the work will be done. Do not recommend unless you don't happen to mind living in a construction zone for the rest of your life. \r

I wrote the above this week. My place was supposed to be done tomorrow and I showed them this review, so in fairness they could object to any parts of it. They asked only that I hold off until the job was completed. Just now they emailed me and told me there was going to be another delay and I fired them. Looking for a new contractor now. \r

Hands down the most incompetent/unprofessional/dishonest company I have ever dealt with.
