What a Used Bookshop should be 4/26/2010

I really dig this place. It's not super big (by Barnes & Noble standards). But there's a LOT of books and the owner knows what he's got, knows different genres, etc. He was helpful and ironically, helped me order a new book (got a good deal there, too.) It's a good place to find a book, whether you know what you're looking for or not. Pros: Selection, knowledgeable/helpful owner Cons: Size, if you're used to book warehouses more

My Favorite Bookstore 4/21/2010

I love stopping by this shop and just poking around to see what new books have shown up. The atmosphere is cozy, with chairs available if you want to just sit down and read the first chapter before deciding to buy a book. Different rooms focus on varying areas of interest, and I always seem to find a book that catches my eye. My kids like visiting as well. Best neighborhood bookstore in Jacksonville 1/21/2009

My favorite Jacksonville Bookstore. Neat and organized, with a wonderful selection and good prices. Looks small from the outside, but once you go in there is room after room of wonderful books. The owner really knows his stock, and I'm always finding something new and tempting whenever I visit. Pros: Great selection, Friendly service Cons: A bit selective about the books he takes in. more
