I have eaten here 5 times over the course of a year and I really like the place. It feels European and it attracts trendy people of all ages. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is a good buzz of conversation but not too loud. The dishes are not typical of American restaurants: the owner makes a point to stay true to his roots. So, the seasonings, presentation and portions are more European in style. The owner is personable and reminds me a bit of Robert Mitchum. He will probably visit your table during the meal. At the front of the restaurant is a nice bar with a picture window, and in the back he is building a covered patio eating area for the mild months. Highly recommended! While you are at it you can visit the Villa Gourmet market next door and take home some great cheeses!
Pros: Old part of town, nice little shops nearby, great European feel, great food
Cons: parking is a little tricky and the streets are confusing in this area.
