Bismillah Kabob-N-Curry

They are very courteous and friendly. The food cost is reasonable. Naan and Kabob is really excellent. We also tried the Kumpao shrimp which is tasty too. more

If anyone is looking for the best halal food out there, they need not look to far!!! We have used Bismillah since '01 for our catering needs, back when they were in Los Angeles (the original restaurant is still there and running). We catered first for our wedding in '01, then in '04 for our son's 1st b-day party, and are still using them years later in '11. We have used Bismillah for all our catering needs and have never ever been let down. The food is excellent (their tandoori chicken is the best, I've never come across another restaurant that makes it as good as them), the service is prompt and we always have tons of leftovers. The rates are affordable, the delivery is always on time and as always, guest just rave about the food. We have used them for years, and will be using them in the future for all our catering orders in the future. Thanks to all that make our parties/gatherings a success, and specially to Khawar Bhai for always being there to help us out when we need the food!!! Absolutely amazing food, clean restaurant, good service. I've eaten there 4 times and never have I been disappointed. I've tried many different dishes, and loved every single one. My absolute favorite is all their delicious chinese dishes. I highly recommend the restaurant to all my family, friends, and everyone reading this review. There is no other Halal Indian Pakistani restaurant that I like in San Diego better. more

Cordial staff, clean and spacious indoors, clean restrooms, on-time delivery of food, good mix of Indian , Pakistani and Indo-Chinese food, make this restaurant aces in my book. My favorites include : Kashmiri Kabob Chicken, Karahi Chicken, Spicy Chicken and Beef burgers, Chapli Kabab, Mongolian Beef Honestly, havent tried the whole menu and cannot comment on the other dishes, but what I have tasted till now, I would go back again. - H K more

My family went here for dinner. The place is completely remodeled and creates a nice atmoshere. The food was fantastic. We had the chiken tika masala, galric naan, tandoori platter, lamb khorma. everything was very tasty I highly recommend this!! more

Me and my wife went to BKC on a week night for the very first time and we had an excellent dining experience. To get things going, we ordered the Hot-n-Sour soup for 2, and when the soup arrived, it was in a bowl that could feed 4 instead of 2. Needless to say, I inhaled the entire bowl because it was so hungry and the soup was very delectable.\r \r I love chinese food, so naturally I ended up ordering the Mongolian Beef that came with a bowl full of rice and my wife went with Lamb Kadai and Naan. I was ecstatic when our plates arrived with huge appetizing portions. Both meat dishes were mouth-watering, irresistible and notably tasteful. The real treat for me was the zabihah halal meat which was so tender and juicy, prepared with the right balance and blend of spices.\r \r I would highly recommend this place if you're into Indian-Pakistani-Chinese cuisines. I would rate this restaurant as Best Indian restaurant in San Diego. 5 star rating 1/26/2011 Amazing Food ! Nice decor and prompt service! Ordered kashmiri kabab as an appetizer and simply loved it. Probably the best chicken appetizer I have ever eaten. The meat is tender and the sauce is just perfect. The nan (bread) is extremely good as well and you could feel the freshness in the food. They have a wide selection of curies and chicken tikka masala would be my favorite. The chicken biryani (rice) is simply extraordinary and I would rate this place as the best biryani place in San Diego. I wouldn't be surprised if this is their top selling item. We ended our meal with kulfi (dessert) which was very impressive..reminded me of India. This place looks much better and newer since new management took effect. They have some new fish entries which I tried recently and would be going back for more. Overall, an excellent place with affordable prices. more

This is the best indian/pakistani food I've had in SD. Bar none.You will get delicious authentic south asian food here . The Chicken Biryani, Lamb chops & Chicken Tikka Masala are just amazing. All you can eat lunch buffet is only $9.99. more
