We are starting to explore our potential new home, Natchez. Sundays seem to be very slow here, so we were really glad to find a nice restaurant opened downtown. Biscuits & Blues offers a really tempting menu and music nightly. Between the four of us we tried 6 different dishes and loved every single one of them. The Crab Stuffed Jalapenos were out of this world. The Crawfish Beignet, listed as an appetizer, could easily be an entrée for me. It was lovely to see several typical New Orleans dishes on the menu. Both the Gumbo and the Grillades & Grits met with approval from all four of us fussy, spoiled New Orleanians. The biscuits - I could wax on about them for a page or two, but the best idea is for you to come and taste them yourself. Cheerful decor, super friendly service, well prepared and expertly seasoned food, reasonable prices - we loved it!
