I had the worst retail experience in my life at this store!! The ""manager"" was sooo rude and threatened me. They pushed me into buying the larger size telling me that if I got the smaller size they would stretch and my foot would slide off the end. I got them home and my foot was sliding all over the place so I went back that same afternoon to exchange them. They refused to take them back and said to come back when the manager was there. I went the next morning and the woman who said she was the manager told me she wouldn't take them back because I had worn them then threatened to call the police if we didn't leave the store???? What kind of customer service is that? It was so strange. I just wanted to exchange my shoes for a smaller size and they refused. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! more

Every pair of Birkenstocks I've had I bought at Birkenstock of Old Town when at Key West on vacation. I was in Key West 2 weeks ago in Jan 2012 and bought my 3rd pair from Wally, the owner of the store & he told me he could resole the pair I wore in for $35. In 2 days he called me & wanted $65 because the repairman wrecked the cork footbed & it all needed to be replaced. I wanted the repair he promised me & when I picked them up they are totally unwearable!!! The sole is twisted & not at all flat!!!The clerk told me they are having problems with the repairman. They would not refund my $ on shoes that are unwearable! I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR HIS MISTAKE!!! HE ASKED ME TO GET THEM RESOLED!!! THEY WERE FINE WHEN I GAVE THEM TO HIM!!! THAT IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN & I AM WARNING ALL OF YOU NOT TO BUY THERE EITHER FROM THAT SLEEZY SLIMEBALL!!! Pros: null Cons: null more
