Bioderm Skin Care & Laser Center

I am a patient at the Garland Location located in the Firewheel Mall and I'm having a great experience. I have oily, break out, sun damaged skin and I found out about BioDerm due to walking by. It has been in the same location for 8-9 years since the Mall has opened and to my understanding b/c Ive been a Garland resident for 30 years. I consulted with Sheena, who is a aesthetican and she is very knowlegble with skin care when it comes to home regime, make up and how to use your products. All I used before was cetaphil due to everything else hurting my skin instead of making it look better. I'm sure all women can relate. I have used so many skin treatment and have been a ginea pig for way to long now. I finally went into BioDerm and had a consult which was a great learning experience and learned about Phtofacials and Micropeels. The micropeels exfoliate my skin with little flaking (but you can request a deep peel) to make it smooth and the photofacial builds collagen, lightens my sun damage and makes my skin look healthy. Yes, you are put through a series in which the esthetician treats you about 2x a month for a course of 5-6 months. It can run you $1000-2000 depending if you only receive the micropeel/photofacials but they also specialize in fillers and botox but I haven't made a step towards that yet. Botox seems simple though. The customer service here is good you don't feel like they are just taking your money like other reveiws. They treat me as if i'm there mother in which I could be:) I will be coming here long term. I hope this review has shed some light on the sceptics. Love my skin thanks to them. more

I visited the Parks Mall location on 10/30/12 to redeem a Groupon I bought for laser hair removal. I met with Haley Smith and the consultation went just fine. I set an appointment for 11/11/12 for my first treatment and was told that I had to put a credit card down for their cancellation policy. Which at the time I didn't think twice about. After I left that evening my card was ran for $1551.50!!! I never signed anything to this effect. I have spent the last 24 hours calling Amber Compton, the manager of the Arlington location with absolutely no response rather than all sales are final. IT WASN'T A SALE!! I didn't agree to sale, I agreed to discuss the possibilities of getting additional treatments with my fianc? and stated that I would call within 24 hours to let them know if I was interested. I never once said I was ready to commit to that much money! I went in with $129 groupon and left with absolutely NO PRODUCTS OR SERVICES RENDERED AND A DEBIT OF $1551.50 on my debit card. I have contacted the Garland location and spoke to Sara Nguyen who is listed as the principal owner and asked to speak to Dr. Quan Nguyen who is listed as the medical director. Dr. Nguyen does not accept phone calls. Sara Nguyen spoke to my fianc? yesterday and said she would research it and get back to us. It is now rent day and bills are due and I am unable to pay because of the fraudulent charges. I have contacted my bank, Chase, and filed a claim that can take up to 4 weeks to investigate. I have been forced to cancel my debit card which is extremely inconvenient. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. There BBB license has been revoked from numerous complaints that they failed to resolve. There other business Innovative Medical Solutions has gone out of business and has no real phone numbers. It is a SCAM!! more

Started getting a couple of different treatments done last October. Very happy with my first consult, the consultant seemed very knowledgable and eager to help. Currently getting laser hair removal and the results have been great, my underarms and legs are almost completely smooth! My hair used to grow really fast and I go about a month or so without needing to shave now. I had a couple of different estheticians for my visits and they were very thourough and nice. Very satisfied overall. I'm thinking about doing some botox and restylane here now! :) more

I give this place 0 stars. They are a bunch of con-artists. They will say anything and come up with fake deals of the day to make you buy. They do NOT tell you that their services are non-refundable. Check their reviews on Measuredup as well. They have the WORST customer service that I have ever experienced. I am making a vow to spread how horrible they are and one day look forward to when they are out of business. That's how deceiving and shady they are. They are NOT professionals. Whenever you call you can never speak to the manager because she is dealing with ""complications"" How many complications can one place have? Or are they just brushing me off? Either way they are terrible. PLEASE DO NOT GO. And, yes the positive reviews are all from their own employees!! And, I should have picked up on it but the girl who sold me laser hair removal was HAIRY herself even after she raved about her treatments she got at bioderm, so obviously they do not work! PLEASE DO NOT GO!!!!! I moved away and the girl told me I would get my money back and to this day I am still waiting! more

I have always been embrassed of my freckles. Then I heard from my friend about Bioderm and they have treatments that will help remove my freckles. I started to get treatments about a year and a half ago. Well I am happy to say NO MORE FRECKLES!!!! I get Photofacials and micropeels. It is awesome because there is no down time and the treatments don't take a lot of time (I go on my lunch breaks). Now when I look in the mirror I see smooth, clear skin Not ugly Freckles. Nobody can call me ""Freckle Face"" anymore. Thanks Bioderm. more

I LOVE all the treatments I have received at Bioderm! The photofacials have helped even out my skin tone and the micropeels have helped with my breakouts and acne scars. My skin is now flawless! I am in my mid 30s and get mistaken for a 20 year old all the time now, thanks to Bioderm. The staff and treatments are so amazing! I wouldn't go anywhere else! more

I just had my first laser toning treatment at Bioderm and already I am seeing a difference in my skin. The customer service is outstanding. The consultant took time to evaluate my skin and customize a treatment plan just for me. I shopped around at several other places and Bioderm by far had the best deals. The location is very convenient and scheduling has been a breeze. My next treatment is coming up soon and I can't wait! more

I've been a patient here for at least 3 years. I've done a round of laser hair removal to help with ingrown hairs and couldn't be happier with the smooth look now. I also did a series of micropeels to get my skin ready for my wedding. I suffered from horrible acne on my cheeks and chin and my skin looked amazing afterwards! My wedding photos looked flawless, no photoshop needed! :) more

I'm loving my skin after Photofacials and Micropeels. So many people have complimented on how glowy and even my skin tone/texture is now. The staff is so knowledgeable... I'm so glad I didn't go to a dermatologist and waste time and money!! Laser hair removal was also the best investment for me as well... I may just need my maintenance treatment and add on other areas now!!:) more

I've been getting treatments done at BioDerm Skin Care and Laser Center for 3 years now. When I first started going I had the most horrible teenage acne I've ever had in my life. I was very self conscious and depressed because of it. The staff at BioDerm skin care are very courteous and caring and they help you out and answer any questions you have. They try their best to accomodate you and go out of their way to make you happy. 3 years later after having more than several micropeels and a few photofacials, my skin is more clear than ever! I feel more confident than I have ever felt in my life and it's because of the treatments from BioDerm Skin Care. I couldn't praise this place enough. It was a true life saver. more

Bioderm Skin Care & Laser Center needs to be recognized for their awesome micropeels. I have been receiving micropeels for 2 years now. My skin has never been this clear and glowing, EVER! Definitely worth checking out! more

I have been going to BioDerm for about a year now and I couldn't be happier with my results. I have been struggling with acne on my back and was real self conscious about wearing tank tops or anything showing even a part of my back. They then introduced me to Micropeels. I can now go out in public and show some skin without feeling embarrassed! On top of that they made me feel really comfortable about it. Their service rocked!!! more

I have had Photofacials, Laser Toning, Botox, Restylane, and Perlane done here and Ive never loved my skin more!! The photofacials helped clear up my acne scarring and the laser tonings helped diminish my stretch marks completely! I thought getting the injectables done would hurt but NOT AT ALL. My lips are now fuller and I actually have an upper lip now that looks totally natural. more

After reading the ""true"" reviews, Ive decided to cancel my laser tattoo removel appointment. I was looking for a place close to home to remove an old tattoo so I came across Bioderm skin care and laser ctr while shopping at firewheel. I went in and spoke to someone and was told the treatments were going to be 300$ per treatment and she tried to sell me a package. I didn't agree with the prices so I went to a few other clinics. (She told me if I find a lower price, they would price match.) I found a clinic in dallas that was going to charge me 150$ per treatment and I didn't have to buy a package or pay in advanced. So I went ahead and had my first laser treatment in Dallas. Still needing somewhere close to home, I went back to the bioderm center so they could set up my next appointment and price match. The girl at the front said it had to be approved and they would call me back. The price matching was approved, but they were pushing to me buy a package or they wouldn't price match. That little detail was never mentioned and I refused. Then they told me I had to pre-pay 200$ before my next treatment and this money issue went on for the entire day. All I wanted to do was book my appointment, show up, pay ,then have my treatment. How hard is that to do?? Really hard if you schedule anything with Bioderm Skin care & laser Ctr.
