Charleston unfortunately has a dearth of good Asian restaurants. So, we thought we'd take a drive to North Charleston and check out Bin Minh.
The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired; as far as I can tell, the restaurant is in a large mobile-home type structure.
The service was really great. Our waiter (possibly the owner?) was attentive but not overly so.
The food was good, too. The special included soup, salad, and a spring roll with the entree for $8, on the night we were there. I ordered the Pho (~$6.50) The portions were quite large.
If you've got a craving for Asian food (especially for Pho), it's worth the drive to Bin Minh.
