For all of us living in Boerne, this is what I get for trying to shop locally and support the Boerne economy. Billys Wester Wear is the worst example of customer service I have ever heard of. I Purchased 3 pair of boots for my family, after leaving the store and getting home, I realized that one of the $90.00 pair of boots had a manufactures defect which was a small tear in the top of the boot. I immediately went back to the store and spoke to the manager. She explained that there was another pair at the Kerrville store or a new pair would be ordered from the boot company. Days pass with no follow up. We call the store 3 days latter and are told that the replacement boots are in and the next day to come and pick them up then. We arrive with my child wearing the original pair and are then told that Billys western wear does not warranty the boots and THEY will have to send them back to the company that made them. This was not explained at any time when I made the purchase or when I returned the second time hours latter. I had to leave the boots, which are paid for, and carry my child out of the store with no shoes on. Year to date, I have not been contacted by anyone from the store and still do not have the boots back. So simply, this store stole $90 from me. I will never buy anything from this company and will tell everyone I can about this experience to save them from having any issues like this happen to them.
