June 10, 2012 --- I called the salon approximately 2-3 weeks earlier telling them that I am not happy with my cut and color. On Saturday (June 9, 2012), I spoke to my colorist and told her I was not happy with my color. I felt on Saturday as well as in the past that she does not agree with my opinions but that she will reluctantly do what I want. She was clearly annoyed with me. She decided to do a double process which I have NEVER had done before and did not clearly understand what she was about to do. My hair is generally ligher brown with hightlights. After a glaze and a wash, I was finally able to see my hair and it was YELLOW and awful. I told the colorist that I did not want YELLOW and she said that she mentioned Gwen Stefani. If she did, I certainly did not think she meant that color for me as I certainly do not fit that style. I was clearly in shock!!!!!! I paid $240 for color, cut, and recommended products as I was afraid this treatment was going to ruin my hair. I went home hoping that the color would fade a lot. I woke up the next morning and my hair went from YELLOW to ORANGE.... terrible to awful. I decided at that moment, that I would not be able to return to work with this color as I looked RIDICULOUS. I made some calls and was able to get in to see a colorist the next day at Adam Broderick in Ridgefield, CT. After another three hours of treatment, I was finally able to get the color I have wanted and was promised by Billy's - since a customer with Billy's for the last 9 months. Unfortunatley, I spend another $400 at Adam Broderick to get my color back on track and presentable. I will not be returning to Billy's and I would certainly not recommend them.
