Bill's Towing Svc

i thought i had a flat so i pulled over to the right of the freeway.i realized my lug nuts were messed up.so i called for a local to tow to come get it. its been about an hour since my car has been there to right side of the freeway.by the time my loacal tow got there.my tow truck driver said they are towing the vehicle away. i called the company, the company said they are charging $470 200 an hour is what they charged me. when the driver got there, he charged me another $30 to take it off the truck???????he brought it to my house and didnt let me take the vehicle. ??i have pink slip in hand my bill of sale and the release of libiality. i told him let me go look for my license since i didnt have it on me. before i went back in he said this cars worth $800 and you cant sell it for much. i asked him so he lien sales cars?? and resales them?? he answered ""YES"" because he buys and sales on craigslist. a lien sale is when the tow truck company tows the cars charges $$$$$$ and then some people dont have enough $$$ so they basically lose their car to the company. i realized i was about to get jacked for my modifed car. not going to say what kind.anyways he left with my car and i called the tow and this girl picks up and was actually trying to help me get my car back she said he doesnt wanto drive back since hes already on the freeway?????? even though he was only 20 feet away from me while i seen him drive off??? so ths was some fishy ass sh*tgoin on excuse my language but seriously like wtf is goin on?? anyways they said they charged a late fee a tow fee nd a fee when they have to go back to their property to open the gate so a gate fee?? anyways i dont understand how a fee is going up to $500 within 3-4 hours???? watch out guys you will get towed and charged fast!!!! or you will have to leave it to them to resale your car for whatever its worth in their eyes because they know how to make $$$ when the ecomy is down. more

My vehicle was towed on a Friday 4pm by Bills Towing Svc. authorized by MVPD. I was at work when my wife informed me of what happened. I called this Bills Towing trying to get my vehicle out fast so the charges would not be high. The dispatcher said that the office was closed and I would have to pay $85. afterhours or weekend fee, $50 day fee, and $175. towing charge. Total $310 She suggested to go ahead and wait until Monday to get it out $150 for 3 days plus $175 would be $325 a $15 more to wait to not stress out because I was off work at 11 pm anyways. I agreed and come Monday I had to pay MVPD $50 for releasing authorizing papers, I went to Bills Towing and found out I would be charged for Monday as well and not to mention I was there a 30 minutes after they opened Total $375. I explained my conversation from Friday I had with the dispatcher and the guy -owner or whatever he was behind the desk (unkept unshaven) Both were unmoved and uncaring. ""Nothing much I can do was his reply."" I just had it- I paid my fine in cash and left. I will tell everyone what a sad experience I had with this company. Do not do business with them- they're liars! I hope they get audited. Cons: Unprofessional Towing Co. more

TOO Expensive\r Car alarm went off while I was away and parked in from of house.\r City of Mountain View police had Bill's Towing take it less than 2 miles away.\r Bill's Towing charged $295. for a 3 hour storage. At 6PM they put in after hours charge.\r Bill's Towing charging too much legally. Cons: Charges were outrageous. more
