Bill's Cakes and Catering has been in business for 35 years now. In that time, we YES forgot to make a small wedding cake for New Years Day 2010. The groom called me and asked about the cake. I told him that I could have the cake decorated and delivered within one hour. He said that would be fine. Ten minutes later while I was working on the cake, the bride called and asked if I would have the cake at the hall within 1/2 hour. I replied NO, that it would take me a full hour, but it would be there and would be what they had ordered and be beautiful. She (the bride) told me that if I could not be there within 1/2 hour, she didn't want the cake, and insisted on a refund instead. I told her I would refund her money paid in full. Five minutes later the mother of the bride called me, and told me that the bride left her reception to go find a wedding cake....(on New Years Day and without a previous order being placed?).......WE could have had the cake there in less than the 1/2 hour since the last phone call.........This bride was irrational in her thinking, as the cake could be there in plenty of time for the reception and cake cutting, but she preferred to create a lot of un-necessary drama.........I truly felt she made the wrong choice...........Her money was cheerfully refunded and I have never heard from her again. We hired Bill's cakes and catering to make our wedding cake, he was to deliver the cake to our reception hall before noon on December 31st, we arrived at the reception hall about 1:00 with our guest much to our surprise there was no wedding cake. We asked the waitress if our wedding cake had arrived and she stated no cake as of yet, so we asked if she could call and see where it was. She did call and spoke to Bill and he advised her that it had slipped his mind and our cake had not been made. I was absolutely devistated and very upset and embarrased. He really did not care that we had hired him to make our cake for our special day and he failed to do so. He had caused alot of frustration and also alot of embarrasement and it really did not seem to faze him at all. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BILL'S CAKES AND CATERING TO MY WORST ENEMY. VERY UNPROFFESIONAL, NOT DEPENDABLE!!!!!!!!!! more

A cake that feeds roughly 100 people will run you around 175$ here. The flavor offerings are fun, and of course you can get the traditional tasting cakes before you make the decision. Cake flavors run the gamut from white to pineapple to Carrot and Chocolate. The fillings are mostly fruit like raspberry and apple, but also come in custard and buttercream. The proprieter's showroom is mostly 80's style with fountains and staircases, and that is mostly his preferred style, but don't be scared off by this. This is one of the most reasonably priced cake makers in the area and the quality is quite good. He can be talked into other more decade appropriate styles... I've seen plenty of them. Just be sure that you are very explicit and bring pictures. Go over your notes with him, and you can expect a good product from him. more

The name says it all about this business. They provide catering services and also make excellent cakes to serve at any function. We had a small gathering of ex classmates and used them for this and the service was excellent. The cakes and pastries they made were delicious. I would recommend this business to anyone planning a party. more
