I had always been happy with the maintenance they had done on my furnace. But then I had them install a new furnace. The furnace was very noisy from the beginning. I called and they sent the same installers back out, said that this was how the furnace was supposed to sound. I said no it isn't. I spoke with Bill Munzer and he promised to come out. He sent the same installers again, but didn't come himself. The installers once again said it was normal. I complained again, he promised to come out with the manufacturers rep who would ensure me that this was normal noise. I never heard from him again. I called numerous times and wrote several letters. All were ignored. I called the manufacturer. They would not send a rep out without the installer present. I finally paid someone else to come out. Within 5 minutes he discovered the problem. When they installed the furnace, they must have installed the PVC exhaust pipe and then cut it. Some of the pieces of PVC fell into the blower motor/fan housing. It was these pieces flying around the housing that caused the loud noise and vibration. By then the fan blades were damaged and the entire fan unit had to be replaced. Thankfully, this person was able to get the part covered under warranty. So I only owed for the visit to diagnose and remove the part, the trip to get the new part, and the installation of the new part. I sent yet another letter to Mr. Munzer, including the bill and the other company's report showing that it was an installation error. I requested that they pay this bill. I followed this up with a fax and phone call. I have never heard from him.\r
