Bill Dixon Tv Sales & Svc

My Parents live in Oakmont and had two TV's fixed at Bill Dixon's. The repair cost what we were quoted, no funny business, and both times, the TV's came back when they promised. Our TV needs looked at now and I am sorry to hear Bill Dixon's went out of business. Can anyone recommend another TV repairman to me?!? more

I had this company come to my home to fix my sony lcd tv on 12/6/2008.They charged me $650.00 dollars to put a lamp in it worked for 24hrs and went dead again it took them another 2 weeks to come back to my house when they did they said now my optical block was bad they asked for another $600.00 depoist my wife unwilling gave it to them.It is now 2/18/2009 and they still do not have my parts and will not return my calls. I am out $1,250.00 dollars and have not had a tv since thanksgiving.This company is a rip-off. Cons: everything more

They came to my house, picked up my tv, called me 3 weeks later stating that they do not work on Samaung tvs.\r 1) My tv was only 3 months old andI called them for service on it.\r 2) They said someone would be out to fix it.\r 3) They showed up in a big truck and took it out of my home to fix at their shop.\r 4) After 2 weeks, I called them on a status, and they could not find my tv.\r 5) I called Samsung to complain and they told me that they are not a Samsung service center.\r 6) I have been without my tv for 2 1/2 months now and everytime time I call there they hang up when I say who I am.\r 7) I still do not have my tv back.\r I called the better business and contacted my attorney. Right now, I am filing civil charges against them for slander and theft. Cons: liars more

I have lived in Philly, Harrisburg, Erie and now Pittsburgh. I have had to use an electronics repair shop everytime I move and I dread it deeply. Except this last time with Dixon's TV in Verona. When I dropped off my Plasma they told me they were very busy and it would be at least a week before they even look at it. Almost to the hour a week later they did call me with an estimate and eta on completion of repair. It took another week to get part in and installed and what they called a 24 hour burn in time. So I pickup my Plasma, the price they gave me over the phone was exact to the penny. Took it home and it worked great. I have no problem with taking 2 weeks to repair, as long as I am told up front. Which they did. The other TV shops I have used in the past always seemed like they were lying or making an excuse why it took so long and it was always someone elses fault. Well. I feel Bill Dixon is an honest hard working guy like the rest of us and doesn't need to make up stories and lie. Thats why he is so busy, and why he is celebrating his 40th year in January. I would recommend to anyone with anything that plugs in to the wall. Pros: Almost everythign I guess Cons: Can't seem to think of one. more

I Had My TV Worked On Here And Everything Went Great. The Customer Service Was Excellent. Although It Took A Little Longer Than I Expected I Was Still Very Pleased With Their work And Honesty 2 Thumbs Up more
