Awesome 5/17/2010

I have several tats in other places but the best ones were done by Kevin at Bill Claydon's. Yeah it may take long sometimes to get in but you can't rush art. I had all my piercings done there. I would not trust anyone else to do it. more

I've known some of these guys for more than 15 yrs. This is absolutely the best, safest, and most comfortable place on the planet to get a tat. I love my work. I have a half back piece that was somewhat of a shop project. The following artist put ink on me: Bill C, Billy H, Steven D, and Jason B (who I adore). I have had nothing but exceptional service every time I have went back for an ad-on or touch-up. Anyone who complains about their prices and opts out to the shop down the street will pay the price in 10 years. In terms of sanitation I give them *****stars. I know for a fact to work for Bill C you cannot be above pushing a mop. :) Simply put, all reasonable customers are given the utmost respect. This is the only shop I would ever recommend to anyone. ~peace and gl more

Bill Claydon's Tattoo World is kick ass 6/20/2009

Bill's is the best in Fayetteville. all of his artists are extremely talented and that matters. Hizzie is an awesome piercer. I have had too much done to list here but i have also had quite a bit done elsewhere and this is the shop i would recommend. How can you consider any tattoo overpriced when it comes out amazing. If you want a substandard tattoo go pay a substandard price... It's your choice. more

GREAT WORK! 12/27/2008

I got my 1st tattoo on my birthday and of course I was scared, but when I started getting it did hurt, but my artist was great! I got my son's name scripted & it looked better than I thought. I went back 2 months later and had them freestyle mirror images of my initial & it looks great as well. The same day I took my brother to get his first tattoo of his daughters name & it looked great! TheI staff is courteous and makes you feel at ease by talking, laughing, and playing music so that you can forget you were getting a tattoo. This will be the only place I get my tattoo. more

best tattoo shop in fayetteville! 6/17/2008

i have 4 tattoos. got 2 of them at bill's and the other 2 at other places in town. one of the worst mistakes i have ever made was going to other shops rather that tattoo world. the tattoo artist there take there time to put as much detail as possible even into the tinest tattoo. i will be going there again hopefully this week or next week to get my new tattoo and i recomend them to anyone and everyone in fayetteville and surrounds towns to go there its freakin awesome! Pros: awesome tattoo's and great people Cons: yeah i cant think of any more

Fantastic! Love you guys! 10/18/2007

I have two prior tattoos from shops with horrible people, I walked in not expecting much but Joe was amazing! I have one on my arm previously that hurt more and looked worse then the two I just got done on the top of my feet. Courteous people, very supportive, professional. The whole atmosphere was great, as well as the artist. The tats look absolutely beautiful and I appreciate Joe's patience as I had an appointment 2 weeks out then last minute changed what I wanted. Just awesome guys... I don't care if they move me to California, I'm only returning to these guys. more

First Tatoo 7/12/2007

Very hospitable with a great atmosphere, this being my first tattoo and nervous Kevin just made it pain free with Music and small talk. Wicked choices of Tattoo's everywhere need I mention the cleanliness and superb attention to detail. They aim to please and that is what I like.Only CON- Parking space SUCKS..get there early on Sunday's or make an appointment.lol more

Excellent Tattoos 3/9/2007

I've had two tattoos done at Bill Claydon's Tattoo World. They both look great and were reasonably priced. Everyone who worked there was great. A little short on the phone, but I suppose they were busy at the time. The wait usually isn't too bad either. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

Superb Cover-ups & Top Notch Artists 6/2/2006

My hubby and I were looking for someplace professional to have my nipples pierced and this was definitely the right place. Shortly after that we came back to find out about some cover-ups, though we did meet a little resistance from the girl working the desk, we were hooked up with the right people and ended up with the best work we've ever had. I won't go to anyone else in town for my work, I've had two pieces done by Joe and my husband has had three by Mark. We haven't compared their prices with anyone else, but what I've paid for my work is definitely worth it. All of the artists there have a good deal of experience and I have yet to see one bad tattoo walk out of their building. PROS: Large studio w/many artists CONS: Parking is limited more

Tattoo 11/5/2005

I recieved my first tattoo 9 yrs ago from Bill Claydons Tattoo World. After 9 yrs the tattoo is still beautiful and looks VERY professional. The price was fair and the staff wonderful. The parking lot is small and is troublesome espcially during rush hour (this parlor is located right outside of Fort Bragg Military Base). Granted my tatto was not inked by Bill Claydon but was done by one of his protege's. I now have a daughter who is of age and I am taking her to Bill Claydons. PROS: Professional staff, good choice of tatts CONS: Small parking lot, very busy more

When I finally got someone to listen to me she was rude and snotty and I felt like she was only half listening to me. She qouted me a price that was a lot higher than I ended up paying somewhere else. more

great job 7/29/2005

I went to Bill Claydon's with a friend to get a tattoo. The building is decorated from front to back with bright colors and lots of graphics. The parking lot is small but there are neighboring business parking spots available. They qouted my friend the price and she got the tattoo in a reasonable amount of time. They covered it for her and gave her an ointment and instructions to prevent infection. The building was very clean and all of the equipment had been sterilized. PROS: lots of tattoos to choose from CONS: located off of busy Yadkin Road more

Unprofessional Tattoo Shop 4/22/2005

I went to this tattoo shop and left highly unsatisfied. I was quoted a price for a tattoo at this shop twice as high as a shop down the road. I tried to bargain with them and told them about the other shop and they became rude with me. I am sure they do great work there however. I have heard a lot of good things about their work but they do not have good business sense. I would recommend going somewhere else unless you have the money to over-pay for your tattoo. more
