THE BEST EVER! DR. TALMADGE IS MY FAVORITE. I HAVE HIGH REGUARDS FOR THE OFFICE! more

I have used Bigger Road for 10 + years, specifically, Dr. Sounders. I never seem to be able to get an appointment with Dr. Sounders anymore. Recently my dog had to have some skin tumors and a dental with several extractions done by Dr. Baylock. Not only did it cost $1100 but when I went back for the suture removal they did not even check his mouth. I asked the vet tec when she took the dog back to have the vet check his mouth. I was told rather abruptly to just stay in the waiting area. When she brought him back she said nothing about the mouth. I was told Dr. Baylock was in surgery so she just had Dr. Crocker look at him. I asked if his mouth had been checked, she said No. Is he eating OK? When I said yes, she said, everything is probably OK then. By that time I admit I was so mad I just left. Before I had Dr. Baylock do the work, I sought a second opinion and received an estimate for care that was more than half Bigger's Roads fee but chose Bigger Road. I've always been willing to pay for Bigger Road's services because I had confidence that I was getting the best care possible for my animals. This last experience has greatly eroded my confidence. more

Good: They came highly recommended and I have an acquaintance who has been bringing her many animals to them for years.. Bad: A staff member was extremely rude and wait was long. When I asked to see another vet (the one my acquaintance sees) I was denied. When I asked to speak to another vet, that vet was conveniently unavailable. The owner was even worse - backing up the rude staff member - complaining is seen as being at war with them.. Improvements: Many vets will treat some pet owners very well and others poorly. I find this untrustworthy - why should some animals suffer at the expense of others? I wish I could recommend them - but I honestly can't.. Other: Some may find this practice works for them, but for new customers, it is a gamble.. more

This is the best vet I have ever been to! We went here on someone's recommendation when we got our first dog. Since then we have gotten three more animals and we take all of them there. The staff is always VERY friendly and helpful. While all of the doctors are nice, my favorite is Dr. Crocker. The wait times can sometimes be long. I also wish they would offer a reduced charge for multi-pet families. more

I absolutely LOVE this vet office. We started going there with our first dog and since then have acquired three more animals. We take all four animals there and just love the office. Our favorite vet is Dr. Crocker, although all the Drs. have been nice. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a vet. One thing they could do to improve would be to offer some sort of discount to multi-pet families. more
