Big Town Hero continues to use the HERO name to portray the fact that its sandwiches are constructed on bread handcrafted daily in their in-store bakeries with fresh, innovative ingredients and served in a cafe style setting by franchise owners who take pride in their businesses and have developed personal relationships with the customers


A lot of other sub shops claim to bake their own bread. They may bake it but, most of them don't make it. It is shipped across the country frozen and ready to be proofed and browned. Our customers tell us that they can really taste the difference.


We make our bread the old fashioned way. Our bakers get up before the crack of dawn so they can be at our stores to bake bread for you. They mix it up from scratch; flour, sugar, yeast, and more. They roll it out by hand so they can get it just right; then comes the fun part...baking it (If you didn't eat breakfast, this is also the hardest part; there's nothing like the aroma of fresh baked bread to bring out your appetite!).


Our dedication to bringing you the freshest, best tasting bread is one of the things that make Big Town Hero a truly exceptional sandwich experience. And besides that, it's kind of fun.
