Big Splash is a great water park for Tulsa. I love to go there and take my kids for the day. They have some really neat water rides here. I love the Big slides at big splash they ...

Worst

Good: I like the depth of the baby/childrens pool area.. Bad: That I had to buy my 5 month old a season pass. There needs to be more access to water for the children that is free....

Almost drown 8/11/2014

My son and I were swimming in the wave pool at Big Splash when they did not give any warning that they were starting the waves. My son and I started to drown and were screaming for help and the lifeguards did not help us. Luckily a civilian was near by and pulled us to safety. When we confronted the lifeguard supervisor he stated that he knew there was no warning sound like there use to be and just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. I ended up having to take my son to the hospital and he is traumatized now as am I. I use to be a lifeguard and am an excellent swimmer but anyone who has ever been in a wave pool knows how hard those waves can be and how impossible it can be to get to safety especially trying to carry a scared 6 year old and having no floatation device. more

Went to Big Splash 7/16/2011 7/16/2011

Good: Finally getting to the first of the line and riding the rides.. Bad: The staff if VERY rude. You pay way too much to get in. There is mud before you get to the ride to the "lazy river". The steps need updating to the silver bullet slides. Tubes cost $6.50 and you get $1 refund!? Wow! Food: $18/ pizza, $4/slice. Want a souvenir cup? Do they exist? They 'ran out'.. Improvements: That entire place needs torn down, better management to take over, and people need to take some customer service classes!. Other: Do NOT waste your time and money! Get a hose, get a sprinkler, and have the kids play in the backyard. Just as much fun.. more

Quality For The Money 7/19/2009

Good: I like the depth of the baby/childrens pool area.. Bad: That I had to buy my 5 month old a season pass. There needs to be more access to water for the children that is free. If they run out of money or have no money they should have the ability to have water.. Improvements: The ground should be cool for a swimming park. It is very hot on the childrens feet. My child has to wear her shoes into the water and hand them to me. I saw a few babies that were walking fall on the ground and it was very sad how bad they cried because it burned there legs and bottom. That should not happen. They need to find a way to keep the Kitty Pool area a much lower temp. It is like taking a very warm bath in the hot sun.. Other: It looks like they raised there prices but did not do enough upgrades to show for the increase. The babies should not pay that is insane. Need more chairs for seating. I also think all the kids should get tubes at no cost. If the child feels more safe with a tube in the wave pool they should have access to one. And you have to keep a eye on the tub at times to make sure it does not come up missing. Just let everyone have one. The hot feet a no go. Need free water!!. more

Fun In The Sun, With Lots of Splash! 4/15/2006

Anyone who has been in Tulsa for more than a few weeks has probably heard of Big Splash! It is the fantastic water park, that features slides for beginners, all the way to those who really want a challenge! They have both large pools and kiddie pools, so everyone can have some safe fun. Big Splash has been around for many years, and definitely has its fan base... it is usually packed all throughout the summer months! The prices are average... good if you buy a family season pass. You can also find coupons on their web site, and they have specials where you can bring a Coke can for a huge discount. Once you get in, you're not going to want to leave... so be sure to bring plenty of sunblock! more

Big Splash 10/28/2005

Big Splash if fun for everyone in the family or group. They have a big wave pool, tube rides, various slides and a nice area of the little ones to play. They have a lot of sunning chairs as well as covered areas. The park is maintained pretty well but the level of chlorine in the water is overwhelming. Of course, with all the people that use the park it is understandable. My favorite is the Silver Bullet a/k/a the wedgie maker. I still like going here every now and then although try to go during the week, the weekends are outta control crowded. more

Your Only option in Tulsa 8/29/2005

Big Splash is Tulsa's only real water park. It has been around forever. It seems to have greatly gone down hill and needs some major renovations. Also, I don't think they are maintaining what they do have as far as cleanliness. The last time I was there we attempted to go to the wave pool. There were so many bus loads of kids that you couldn't get more than three feet in. It just didn't feel very sanitary. On the other hand it is a historic piece of Tulsa. Everyone needs to go to Big Splash at least once in their life. The Silver Bullet? C'mon you can't miss it. And it was a milestone in Hanson's career. I used to watch their mini concerts in my pink bikini and pretend Zach was my boyfriend. Oh the memories. I wouldn't suggest a season pass but just once is ok. more

Only water park in tulsa 8/21/2005

Big Splash, the only water park in tusla is one of the great, fun things to do with family or friends when they are having a discount day. Too expensive when they are not running a special but lots of fun for everyone! Great snacks there but hey wont even let you bring a water bottle int he gates so expect it! Bring lots of Sunscreen! more

Better than Wet N Wild, and less crowded 7/29/2005

Big Splash has done an EXCELLENT job maintaining it's rides, and adding new attractions every few years. The great thing about Big Splash as opposed to Bells is that the whole family can get involved. None of the rides (except the silver bullet) are that intense, just good, wet fun. One note - it gets VERY crowded on weekends. If at all possible, go on a weekday - lines will be almost non-existant. On the weekend, you could be waiting 20 minutes for a 2 minute ride. more

Big Splash 7/26/2005

I've never been to whitewater bay in OKC, but I happen to like Big Splash. They have a wave pool, huge slides, a 'water coaster,' and lots of smaller pools to swim in. They have different attractions for every age, so its great to bring the family. Also, watch for their summer concert series. more
