Big Smokey Falls Rafting

THIS PLACE HAD THE WORST ""SECURITY"" EVER! MANY CARS WINDOWS WERE BROKEN INTO AND EVERYTHING STOLEN! THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! THEY REFUSED TO GIVE REFUNDS LEAVING US STRANDED WITH NO MONEY, NO GAS AND NO PHONES! THEY EVEN LEFT MY PREGNANT SISTER SITTING WITH NO WHERE TO GO! HORRIBLE SERVICE DANGEROUS RAFTING! WHEN WE FINALLY GOT MY BROTHER IN-LAW TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER THE COPS CAME, BECAUSE HIS ARM GOT INJURED ON A FALL, WE HEARD THAT 2 PEOPLE HAD DIED THERE IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS! DO NOT, DO NOT GO! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?! more

There was 7 of us, all first timers to big smokey, 2 of which were from Indiana and have never been rafting, the rest of us have gone at another place down the road. WOW what a difference! The staff expained everything, without sounding like a record, they carried the rafts for us, were very polite and kind and funny{made us believe we had to ""bear hug "" the raft during the falls} not true of course, but might of helped!. The falls were kind of scarey but not to bad and you have to empy your raft after every fall and rapid, unlike the other place, you wont ever get wet there, we seriously had the time of our lives at big smokey It definately was not boring, the falls and rapids on this trip were very adventurious! we wish we would have gone there years ago, we will go again and bring more people. also, the scenery was breath taking, no houses only wildlife and amazing rocks,the only downfall is that i didnt see any changing rooms, but not that big of a deal for us. What a trip, best of the summer for everyone! I seriously can not say enough good things about big smokey falls, you have to experience it for yourself, hope you do! you wont regret it it Pros: everything, value, time , scenery more
