Really expensive, but pretty good 12/16/2006

The food is good, but way too expensive--I don't think any dinners were below $15. I don't think it should cost that much, but maybe I expect differently in a college town :) You get free bread & olive oil while you're waiting, and the desserts look good, although I haven't tried it. more

Big River Restaurant and Bar is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. While they have incredible food, there is not much of a selection. However, I would definitely recommend checking out the Calzones, Pizza, and Salmon Salads -- they are amazing! Be ready to wait a while, because this upscale riverside restaurant is a popular among locals. more

Big River restaurant features selective, fresh, northwest cuisine. The food is very good, exceptional breads and great desserts daily. Friendly atmosphere, good regional wines, lives music in the bar are just a few reasons for which this restaurant is so popular. The service is excellent, the restaurant and facilities are clean. more

Big River continues high quality dining 6/15/2004

Big River continues to provide Corvallis with delicious, ever-changing selection of fresh food on their menu. They provide the great olive bread on Thursdays, the best pizza in town, excellent fresh seafood, and mouthwatering desserts. It's still tops for lunch or dinner. more
