Lawrence knows ribs. And chicken. And brisket. And slaw, greens and peach cobbler. Tell him that you're hungry and he'll put together a $10/20/30/40 meal for you and you won't be disappointed. I fed six teen agers for $26 and had enough left over for a couple days worth of sandwiches for work. He's even pack up the goods so I could carry them on my motorcycle. There is plenty of good smoke on the meat and Lawrence is a friendly man with nice kids who help out with this family business. Look for the old Atlas Sausage Factory sign and head right in. People from ALL backgrounds seem to love this great BBQ.
Pros: Great quality, real smoke, friendly service and clean
Cons: little hole in the wall - room for maybe 20 people inside
