Big O's Archery

Well, I was using the big box stores for my archery products and services prior to finding Big O’s in Sherman. I really wasn't happy with the constant turnover of personnel in the archery department at the local big chain store. It seemed that when GM in Sherman hired someone with some skill in working on archery products, the individual quit. Well, I went down to Big O's Archery in Sherman and it was a prayer answered.... WOW...very nice folks. Really knowledgeable about all the major bow brands with honesty on strengths and weaknesses of each bow. You can save some money with a big box store but you get more than your fair share of aggravation too. I also got to meet Orvie’s 81 year old father and that was worth the trip alone….from this point on, it’s Big O’s only for all my archery needs. Plus they have a bow shooting machine. more

Our local archery shop has good equipment, but Big O's knowledge, experience and attention to detail is unsurpassed. The owner attends the national shows each year and he shoots many brands of bows regularly. He gives advice that fits the shooter's needs and budget. He's honest and gives advice not to just make a sale. Pros: Extremely knowledgable staff Cons: Far from my house, but worth the trip more

I drove from Waxahachie to get to this shop because I have heard how good they are. Let me tell you, they exceeded my expectations. They set my new bow up and it shoots great. Those guys went out of their way to help me and I truly appreciate it. It's a hell of a drive from Waxahachie but I will be making it anytime I need archery supplies. Pros: Great service and honest help Cons: not a one more
