I brought in some brand new car audio equipment. 2000 Watt Alpine Amp and 2 12 inch Infinity speakers inside their box and the owner which im assuming is ""Mike"" was the most agressive owner of a business I have ever encountered. He offered less than $100.00 for the amp and speakers and box. This is the type of business you can expect. completely astonishing. Pros: Absolutely nothing. Cons: The owner is so agressive. more

I went to big mike's with four guitars ( two fenders brand new one Ibanez and an acoustic),two amps (fender & peavey) mint conditon I take very good care of my things. After being laid off and hospitalized I was forced to sell my prized instruments to pay my rent. Total I paid $1000.00 all I got was three hundred.\r If I was not in so much physical pain which he saw I was in I would have visited other pawn shops I asked if I could just get a loan but he refused. If you are ever in a desperate situation please do not go there. No compassion what so ever. I know he will make double back on my things and then some. Especially if you have instruments he will just say take them Daddy's accross the street which means he is not going to give you s@#t for your valued items. Bottom line there are a lot of better pawn shops in our area. I reccommend CNY on old liverpool rd. Great people who give you decent money for your items and there prices are great!!!!! They have nice items you would be proud to own, not like the old crap at big mike's. Pros: Not a one Cons: Offers low prices for good items!!!!!! more

i had a 28 inch 14 karat gold chain and she weighed it and told me it was worth SIX DOLLARS........i almost thought maybe she misspoke, but i also brought in two silver rings and she told me it was worth two dollars, so the total she gave me was ""eight dollars"".....i politely declined. went to a pawn shop two blocks down the street and got 125 for it. i should have slapped her! screw you big mike! i rate you at a big fat zero Pros: the woman who helped me was nice...but... I have sold quite a few items to the store, and have been satisfied with what I have been paid for them. Add to that their friendly service and good prices, and you have a great store to do business with! more
