Big selection, low prices 10/17/2005

This store has lots to choose from at low prices. They always have a variety of things - different each time you go. They have a food section that has great prices and the dates are not expired yet. They usually have great holiday selections too - but you need to shop ahead of season to get the best stuff. Kind of old and run down but it's worth it for the price you pay! more

I love this place 9/7/2005

One thing I really like about Big Lots is their selection of food. They sometimes have brands that I've never heard of that are really good. The only trouble is that if I buy one box of something and want to go back for more, because of their rotating stock, I won't know if they have it until I get there. I also have to be aware of expiration dates on things like cereal. I've had one or two boxes that haven't tasted that great because they've gone stale. Overall, I love to find a bargain and that's why this is one of my favorite stores around. more

Inexpensive place to find miscellaneous goods especially holiday decor 8/31/2005

This store has inexpensive items of a miscellaneous nature: dishes, holiday items, music, candles, toys, flags, whatever they can buy in bulk and sell at a reasonable price. Always worth a visit around holidays. Good place to get a vase for flowers. You never know what you'll find. more

I love Big Lots! I always try and check here first for things I need because I know if I can find them here, I am paying less. They have everything you might need. Not always the best brand names but you never know what you might find. Good for toys for birthdays, great deals on gift bags, tea lights are super cheap. Greeting cards are a good deal here too. Household things are cheap and they have a great selection of summer toys and stuff for the kids. more
