I recently purchased a large love seat recliner on Craigslist only to discover once I got it home that it wouldn't fit down the very narrow hallway leading to the den. Everybody who tried to move it for us said it would never make it down the hall. I called Kevin for help and he came out the same day. He and his helper somehow managed to work their magic and move the love seat down the narrow hallway and into the den. They are by far the best movers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! more

Kevin and his great guys moved our office from the 17th floor of one office building downtown to the 2nd floor of another and did so efficiently, cheerfully, and with great care for all of our boxes, furniture, computers and assorted odd-shaped objects. All paintings were also moved carefully. They are HIGHLY recommended and we would definitely call them again for ourselves and confidently refer others to them for moving needs.\r more

Kevin and his crew moved furniture, boxes, and some oddly shaped things, like a 12 foot pirogue, for us from Louisiana to several places in South Carolina. We have just unfinished unpacking the last box for a move from the French Quarter to Savannah, and we can't praise Kevin and his group enough. From estimate to packing to loading to arriving on time to placing furniture--they were outstanding. If it shipped fragile, it arrived in one piece, if it was heavy, they made it look light, and the whole time Kevin and his bunch were expert and fun. Had Big Dog Movers pack and move me from Lakeview to Metairie. Kevin and all of his employees were conscientious, careful, friendly and worked non-stop. The packing ladies packed my items as if they were their own and did a much better job than I would have done. Everything was labeled to perfection.\r \r Kevin bubbled-wrapped all pictures and they shrink-wrapped all furniture to prevent damage. I changed my mind several times about where I wanted various pieces of furniture and they re-moved it, had to undo the desk and redo it and take doors off to get some pieces in rooms. Had to remove refrigerator doors...everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. They did not complain & worked non-stop for about 10 1/2 hours. I even gave Kevin a little extra because they had to redo things and re-move things when I changed my mind. Kevin and his crew are really the the best...they're the Big Dog, but the TOP Dog in moving. more

Don't mess with the other puppies in the moving business when you can go with the Big Dog. Kevin is the best. He recently moved us from Lacombe to Picayune. We hired his company for a pack and move given the tight timeline that we had. He was in constant contact with me prior to the move. His packers took care to pack my items as if it was theirs and they did a better job that I would have. Everything was padded and labeled. On arrival, nothing was broken. For the move, they wrapped all furniture to prevent scratches and dents. Shrink wrap was the surprise for me but when I saw how they used it, it was clear that they were moving experts. They moved us and everything made it in one piece with no damage. As I started to unpack, I could find things that I needed as the labeling was spot on. Kevin's crew was professional and hard working and took care of my items and my new house as well. They put everything where it needed to go including stuff upstairs. They put everything back together in a timely fashion. In sum, Kevin is the man. I do not plan on moving again anytime soon, but I can say with confidence that Kevin is my mover and will be my mover anytime that I or family/friends need to move. You should make him your mover too. You will not regret it. more

Big Dog Movers moved me from New Orleans, LA to Charleston, SC. They handled everything perfectly. They even provided me with a firm date of arrival and showed up as planned. All of my items(furniture/car) were transported effectively and nothing was damaged. Kevin and his crew are with you the whole time, so nothing is outsourced to people you are not comfortable with. This personal touch really makes a difference, especially when moving personal possessions. I would hire them again without reservation and recommend them to anyone planning a move. more

Had Kevin and his crew do a local move today. 100% great experience. Everything went extremely quickly and smoothly. The entire crew (all 6!) were very polite and treating treated all my furniture with the utmost care. Even dealing with some admittedly difficult exercise equipment they did a great job.
